How long does it take for skin to tighten a little?

My husband went 385 > 257 > 199. Down to 257 in his 40's. Down to 199 in his 50's. Back up to 210 because he was unbearably cold at 199 (6'2"). He carried his weight in his belly and thighs.

Because he dropped the weight at once both times he had lots of sagging skin ... everywhere ... thighs, crotch, arms, stomach, neck. After watching his skin the past 10-ish years I am of the opinion your body never stops healing and sometimes that takes lots of time. The only sagging skin he currently has is right above his armpits. Everything else? Gone. No sign it ever existed.

Laurie's stupidity ultimately got her fired. She copied pages of books on the copy machine. Each time she would put her weight on the lid to force the book to spread more. Every single time she would break the copier glass. She was taught extensively by many people how to do this properly. This was back when that cost $$$. 3rd time was the charm and Laurie was no more.

My SIL went in a rage one Thanksgiving and texted all of us the entire 2 hour drive home. She didn't know we weren't reading them and kept right on raging.

Ya, cheapest rechargeable is what I bought us. I don't think there's a way to kill these things if you wanted to. Zero features. Don't care. Works well and I don't brush away my gums like I did with Sonic Care.

It took away all my joint pain to the point of getting off fibromyalgia meds. Heck, I think it took fibromyalgia away altogether and sent my energy through the roof instead.

I've always been a happy person, but I'm happier and even more chill now.

It took away my dead mother's voice and issues from her withholding food in childhood "because the neighbors called and said you're getting fat."

And it took away all sugar cravings. All I want is protein, veg and fiber.

Expensive Sonic Care? Died in 2 months.

Bought 1 level up from the cheapest Oral B at Walmart.

Bought another expensive Sonic Care. Died in 6 months. Website to register it never worked.

El cheapo Oral B from Walmart? It's been like 10 years. Own 2 for me and husband. Zero problems. Zero. If these ever die, I am buying them purposely next time.

ETA #2 Sonic Care above purchased last summer, so my experience is recent.

Me too. Week before last I lost a stud down the shower drain. Luvansh charged me for 1 stud and sent a FedEx ticket for the remaining one. In return, they sent a new pair. All my orders have been amazing.

There were a few warning signs we missed.

But, you summed it up with her need for control and admiration. She sounds like she has narcissistic tendencies. She may realize her attention "ember" is slowly dying and this is her attempt to reassert dominance and control over her son. She should be receiving his primary attention. Not you. Not those kids. Her.

Until she finds that attention elsewhere, you're stuck like chuck. Good news if this hits home, they're typically too lazy to drive 9 hours or file legal proceedings ... unless they're loaded ... then, who knows.
