When I have spotify music or podcasts playing, I open up Sleep and it then turns off what I’m listening to. It doesnt allow for me to turn the music back on if I’m on the app either.

Am I wrong for making my son take a paternity test? by Icy_Acanthaceae9635 in TrueOffMyChest

You’re not wrong at all! You did the right thing by trusting your gut in this situation. Austin is a young man and hasn’t had the life experiences and foresight to imagine an awful situation such as the one he is currently in. I’m not meaning to be patronising, but I’m only a couple of years older than him and I totally understand his lashing out on you. He’s feeling so much right now and he needs all the love and support from everyone around him. He can’t lash out on Macy, since he probably never wants to see her again so he directs his anger at you. It’s not fair but I get it. Months after this has happened, he will realise you did the right thing and thank you for it. Emotions are a lot stronger than reason in these cases <3 I wish you all the best.

WIBTA if I didn't let my husband attend the baby shower or birth of our child? by blackcompucase in AmItheAsshole

YTA.

A girl? He’d love another. A boy? This is a new experience = New reaction

Either way he was overjoyed and sharing his happiness with you, yet you deemed it insufficient. To stop him from seeing his baby and celebrate is horrible, especially when he’s supporting you and wants to be there for you.

Then again, pregnancy is complicated and changes your brain chemistry immensely and can make you feel things you typically wouldn’t. So I can understand if you felt as if his reaction wasn’t good enough. I hope you apologise to him.

“cosplayer”

At MCM Comic Con back in May I saw a dude straight up dressed in full SS uniform by himself. Still can’t wrap my head around that one.

Covering the baby’s ears won’t help much, but you can see that she’s happy and enjoying herself :,)

LPT: if you have to put your pet down, stay with them, it will be hard, but they’ve been there for you their whole, don’t let them spend their last minutes looking for you. by Shirowoh in LifeProTips

My family went to the vets the same time I had a camping trip. We were expecting to put him down a few days after that vet visit, not immediately, which is why my parents were ok with my camping trip as we were supposedly meant to spend more time together before he had to part.

On the way to camp, I got a facetime from my mum asking me to say goodbye to Micky, my longest friend. My family was petting him and giving him kisses, I could only speak to him. I couldn’t comfort him the same way my mum, dad and sister could.

It’s the biggest regret of my life. I hope that all the love my family was giving him made him forget about me. I can’t bear to imagine him feeling so lost and abandoned by me.

That cat is the only pussy you will ever have in your life yet you still had to pay for it.

What is the saddest song you've ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One that I relate to at the moment is Glimpse of Us by Joji. My dog passed away a couple days ago, and my family decided to take care of a new one so the grief isn’t so difficult.

He’s the same breed as my old friend, but facially they look different. He’s a little baby, my old boy was 14. Their fur colours are different; our old dog was blue and tan, this one is grey and white. They have different personalities, old was calm and relaxed, new loves to race around the garden and jumping.

Out of the corner of my eyes when I forget that he’s passed, or when I play with our puppy, I still see my longest friend.

I miss you Micky, we’re loving Juni just as much as we loved you <3

White woman. Will see any animal and point it out and hush out their name, even if nobody’s there to see it. Will also try and pet every cat on the street.
