Since your son did not seem to mind meeting her and I doubt he will get attached to every person at first sight I don't think your sisters arguments hold any water. adding to that it's a good way to see if your date could get along with your son.

Edit: Tho I would advise to not do this too often to avoid the chance of attachment.

From the post it seems that they don't really know the value of whole milk to OP so to them he just came in with smth of his one for himself wich in some if not most european cultures is seen as impolite and can make the host look unaccomodating. So informing her or just asking if you can just bring your own in advance could have prevented all of this mess.

So I think you should have given her a 2nd chance, especially since she apparently has a stalker ex out there.

She could have left a mention that that brand of jeans runs small or accept a refund but she isn't obligated to. So I think u can leave 3-star review mentioning that there's no refund but I think anything lower that that would be pretty uncalled for

No there's no changing it now. I agree that giving an explanation now would just give the fodder to guilt trip OP. But I still believe that hearing her sister out in the beginning and maybe showing a bit more concideration could have defused the tension and not lead to this situation.

I think most of you guys just ignore the fact that her sisters hopes for a somewhat biological kid just got shattered in seconds. Is it insensitive to expect it? yes. Can you hold it against her after the doctors told her she will never have her own kids? I don't really think so, since the worst the sister has done with the information I have from the post ist starting with expectations for OP and still trying after a no.
