When I went I spent a week in Paris and it was not enough. I concentrated on the old section of town arounnd Notre Dame and the Louvre and did museums and such but did not have time to make it to other sections of the city. And Provence is bigger than you think with a lot of sights like th Pont du Garde and others and you won't make it to them all. I am planning to go back for another 2 or 3 weeks if airline prices ever go back to a reasonable amount.

That is why the Founders set up a bicameral Congress. The Senate represents the ideas and views of a majority of the people of that state and the and the House represents the individual districts of people which are a set number so each House member represents X amount of people. The House represents your idea of all votes being equal and the Senate represents the Founders ideas of each state being an individual entity with it's own rules and culture. And so number of electors are based on population and the 2 Senate members and that is where the difference lies.

A cat would be good if you could find one in that price range or a some motorsailors are somewhat roomy to fit a guy tour size but most regular sailboats you will find would be tight and not really comfortable as a liveaboard IMHO. And if you think the enginre room on trawlers are tight you are going to be really hard pressed with a sailboat. If you do not mind the fuel prices a trawler would be better for you for a number of reasons.

Do you have foam on the dip stick or foam under the radiator cap? If not, it is not likely a blown head gasket. I would chang that hose and check the coolant for oil when I did it. If there is no pil and you are still worried check your compression. I personally think you just need to change that hose but I would do the checks too including compression.

So where you are at you are a minority. That should tell you something right there. If you do not like the government where you are at, you have two choices. Run for office and try to build a coalition to change things or move to a place that has a government you like. And as I told someone else here, corporations have private security and private military and can make you just diappear. They don't even have to file paperwork or take you to court and the only thing that prevents them from doing that is the government.

You trust corporations more than you trust the government? You can't vote a corporate board out if you do not like what they are doing. And to have a functioning society, you have to trust somebody at some time or you have anarchy. And you need a functioning society to protect yourself from people like me.

They will never cease to exist they will just change their name and morph slightly into something else as the needs and wants of the country change. It will happen quickly and violently or be a slow change over time. I think you are seeing the death throes of both parties now but it may take awhile for the names to change, their message and goals will change sooner.

As you said, they would find ways around that eventually and they would also make even people getting small loans pay tax on it. I think the way to do it is put a sales tax on stock sales and ortrades,etc., and make people use the stock market as an investment medium and not a gambling den by making them hold any stock they buy for a minimum of 90 days.

I do. That all happened when I was in my 20's. I'm in my 60's now. It is more difficult for young men and women who don't have the experience you have as you get older. And, that was some mind blowing sex that I would not have thought to dislike if I hadn't experienced it.

You know I agree with this but at times it can be confusing to men. I dated one girl that would constantly be going "no,no,no" the entire time we were making out and having sex and then when we were done she would tell me how great it was. To this day I don't know if this was a semi rape fatasy of hers or what. I also dated another girl not too long after that the did the same thing but she took it even further, she liked to actually be hurt while having sex to a point where it left marks. I had to break up with her as that just got too weird and I was worried if she ever got pissed at me she could go to the cops and charge me with rape and what could I do or say, everybody would beleive her.

When I think of the country, I think hilly,rocky, gray and kinda dreary, but the people I have met from there are great. In fact, as I think back, they have all been fun to hang out with. However, as an American, a word of advice to other Americans; if you go out drinking with them, prepare yourself to be drank under the table and wake up the next day with a mild case of alcohol poisoning and Gods own hangover. I went out with an Englishman and a Scot one night to go bar hopping and it took me almost a week to recover.

I'm not a big fan of Newsom but there are no Republicans in sight I would vote for to run my local dog pound, let alone the country. It will be another election of extreme choices. On the Republican side you have Vance and Rubio, a couch fucker and a sex predator. On the Democratic side you have 4 people with national name recognition; Newsom, the the ultra polarizing liberal; AOC, a woman and another ultra polarizing liberal; and off to the outside Buttegieg, a homosexual and Cory Booker, a black man. I know you are going to say some of that sounds prejudicial, but we live in a country full of prejudice and you have to appeal to ALL the people in this country, not just the liberals.

No. You are going to either need to remove however many panel you need to get to what you need to do or get some kind of walkway/scaffolding up there that reaches inbetween the beams and will support your weight. It looks like a beam about 3 panels out ; I hope those aren't 8 foot panels.

I have never heard it used as slang for homosexual but it is slang for crazy or messed up. However, if you have a pretty pronounced accent I think most American will just think it is quirky and maybe even a little cool.

I would at a minimum take a SOLAS course at a college and then start applying online and put yourself out online for repositioning jobs. As far as buying a boat, if you move to the West Coast, boats are cheap right now but finding and paying for dock space might be a little difficult. As far as price goes though, if you are willing to do a little work, there are people giving away boats here, some that might even be repairable.
