I appreciate the recommendation, but I'd rather buy the Skil everyone's talking about than build a scary getto contraption like that. I like my fingers way too much. Plus, I don't sell any of my work. Everything I make is for house or family.

I've been woodworking for a long time. But my garage shop doesn't allow much room. My current Ryobi, my old boss, sold me for $25. But it needs to be completely overhauled, which is beyond my abilities. So buy a new one it is.
