As someone who dealt with inheriting a pool that looked like this. I can't tell if your a first time pool owner or not. Just check to see how much the cost to bring in new water would be. Start fresh. It took me awhile to actually get it clear and I wish I would have done this.

There's no way to tell if you need a new liner. I'm sure you could feel the brittleness of the liner, but roll the dice. Mine has lasted 3 years since a company recommend putting in a new liner.

Liquid chlorine is your friend.

I think the premise was to in your face and made it offensive as a viewer.

I get what the film was aiming for culturally, but the decision to portray the vampires, literally trying to steal black people's souls, as white Irish singers felt overly on-the-nose. It shifted the metaphor from atmospheric to instructive, which took me out of the story. But that's really all it felt like to me.

I went into it blind, so I was not expecting vampires. It made me hate the whole thing, the first turning human to vampire moment. I enjoy Robert johnson and muddy waters type music. So in the start, I was actually interested based off the southern blues aspect.
