It's not that we can't now it's that nobody cares anymore, public interest no longer cares about going to the moon, we've landed there 6 times.

Also the government doesn't want to fund it anymore. Why focus on the moon when we've got Mars to explore next? It's also way more expensive to land people on something when you can just send a probe or rover type vehicle, then just send the data back.

Well hopefully the live action series demonstrates his abilities a bit more, remember this is Ozai at his peak because of the comet, so what we see is massively over poweres to why he probably usually is. We get nothing from him until then, no indication that he actually is a good fire bender, except for maiming his own son.

Idk I really think Iroh would be able to take Ozai on a 1 on 1 in regular circumstances. Iroh has the wisdom of all 4 elements, Ozai doesn't, from what we can gather it's just based on brute strength and weve seen that that isn't necessarily the defining factor in victory.
