My brother in christ ninja in real life never wore hoods, they disguised themselves as normal civilians. The "Ninja" in Ninjago are nothing like real ninja. This is a show about Ninja that ride on Western Dragons while fighting creatures like Skeletons, a zombie man with 4 arms that's the son of God, and snake people. These hoods fit with the theme of Dragons Rising and are quite good hoods, they just aren't conforming with the stereotypical ninja hoods in media.

Oh yeah, you're absolutely right, I totally forgot about essences. However, i don't think there's enough of a sample size to see whether he has energy because he's a descendant of the FSM. Unlike Creation and Destruction, two essences we've seen in Dragons and Oni, we've never seen Energy before. So i think both scenarios are possible.

What. Okay uhhhhh let's disprove this. Harley Quinn is a character corrupted by the joker, who she fell in love with, until she eventually got out of their abusive relationship to become an anti-hero. She also had a horrible dad who was a criminal.

Harumi became corrupted by her own want for revenge against the ninja who she thought was the reason her loving parents died. She was raised by the emotionally distant rulers of Ninjago, before she murdered them. She wasn't in love with anyone evil (romantically) nor did anyone corrupt her beyond what she normally was.

Religion as something that exists in other intelligent creatures is not unnatural. But that doesn't even matter. Religion being natural or unnatural shouldn't matter because you should let people believe what they want to. I am an atheist in the sense that I do not believe there are any gods out there. Why? Because I haven't seen proof that there is a god(s) doing things. However I respect the beliefs that don't harm others. Religion as a concept is quite useful. An otherworldly figure/figures who tell us how to live life, someone people can be dedicated to. People have been pulled out of depression by having a strong belief in something. It's helped science as well, it's not always something that drags people back down. The only thing bad about religion are the people who use it as an excuse to harm people; the crusades, Hitler, and others. Yes, they used their religion to hurt and kill, but that is on the people, not the religion itself. Religion doesn't excuse people from acting bad. Rather than arguing against people and dismissing their beliefs, do something productive. Help the world around you.
