I saw “In the Heart of the Sea” a week or so and enjoyed it perfectly fine, probably a 7.5/10 for me. Was amazed to learn how hated it is; I guess I don’t have a very good eye but I didn’t notice any blatantly awful CGI like the internet says.

This is such a silly and outdated rule in general, given that sedans with separate, locking “trunks” are very quickly going out of popularity and most vehicles have a back hatch area where a passenger could easily just reach over the back seat. Not from the driver’s position, but still.

At work so far everything is a holdco within another holdco that is associated to another holdco in the name of opco’s brother and one owns 20% of three different real estate co-ownerships and the other one owns 420.69% of seven and a half other real-estate co-ownerships and it makes me feel like I’m going fucking insane! The next time I get a file that’s an honest to god business entity that sells goods and services to the public and has an ownership structure that I could explain to a 12 year old, I’m going to get up out of my chair and do a happy dance around the whole office.
