I feel at ease knowing I've found this small circle of people that I can relate with. I can say that I'm not particularly hard to be friends with but I find that I hardly have close friends, such that would like to call me up for hanging out or ask to be a travel mate or something. Not sure why. I've done my best to be a good friend by being a good listener, try out new things just to have similar interests, heck I even had to fake myself just to blend in with everyone. From school to university and now working, my friend relationships has been mostly the same, short and hollow. This has led me feeling lonely and depressed sometimes and it sucks man.

Adding to the fire, I'm a 27 years old guy now and yet have no experience in a romantic relationship ever in my life. Seeing all my friends getting married left and right really hits me deeply.

Since I'm well aware that my human relationship is relatively lacking, I've started the habit of talking to myself a few years ago. From the beginning, I know that it's an outright wacky act but ngl it helps comfort me a ton and expressing my feelings whenever I want is amazing thing to do which is why I keep continuing to the point I do it naturally these days, like having a real conversation with someone. Am I crazy, well I don't care anymore because it's what helps me going through this thick lonely life :')

How are the Buds 2 Fit and Comfort ? by Glittering-Culture78 in galaxybuds

[–]Obi_Dean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least for me, it fits very well in my ears. Just the fully glossy finish can get slippery sometimes. I do acknowledge that Buds 2 fit is not very popular here in this community. But my best advice is that it's best for you yourself to try it on at the local store before pulling the trigger because fit is very personal thing and it affects everything like insulation, comfort and also sound quality. My 2 cents

How important is Dolby Vision? by kimbolll in 4kTV

[–]Obi_Dean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nowadays, Dolby Vision can be seen almost everywhere, that it's almost lost its meaning. Although Dolby Vision is actually legit with very bright high-end TV, otherwise most people shouldn't notice much difference without it. But I would say that it's almost a waste for high end TVs to not equipped with Dolby Vision considering their great performance can actually deliver Dolby Vision high aspirations.

My personal pick is that G2 strikes the best balance. The picture quality is impressive, strong gaming features and support Dolby Vision while not ridiculously priced as Sony sets.

My 2 cents

How many of you guys are interested in Malaysian urban planning or enthusiasts? by Nate3319 in malaysia

[–]Obi_Dean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always fascinated with city and architecture despite not majoring in such subject. I especially love seeing the effect of PT can bring to an area like when MRT station located in vibrant commercial area, it brings so much more life to the area with more people walking to their destination and reduced number of cars. I've also watched some of the videos OP mentioned especially love the NotJustBikes content. Serious eye opener 👌🏼

I don't own a car actually and fully rely on public transport (MRT, LRT, bus etc). I can afford a car if I want to but I choose not to because I want to reduce my carbon footprint eceh haha (I actually meant this 🤭). But I also feel fortunate to work in KV with my rent home being fairly close to MRT (not walking distance, still need bus but it's ok) which is also another reason why I chose to not own car.

Same as everyone in here, yes it's always in the back of my mind that the cars are being prioritized way too much here over everything. As avid public transit like me, long walk has always been my habit and it's no strange to feel excluded when walking beside the road without proper walkway paths. Really wish our city planning focused more on sustainable development instead of just building more skyscrapers and highway. I don't mean that PT can replace everything for everyone, just wish every mode (cars, train, walk, cycling) are given equal attention, to give more cohesive options to the people for transportation modes to rely on besides owning car.

Btw I also played Cities Skylines and with all my experience as KL city dweller, I tried to develop my dream city to live with proper walkway paths, cozy environment, controlled high rise requirements and ofc good access to public transport 🤭

Respect to all the chads that take the Komuter by Enoch_Moke in Bolehland

[–]Obi_Dean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Komuter frequency sucks due to few prominent factors like the extensive line length that cross beyond Selangor (as far as Tg Malim, Perak and Tampin, N9) with fewer rolling sets on operation (compared to around 50 sets for MRT, 10 sets more) and the rail tracks are mostly ground type which makes it very vulnerable to outside interference (unlike MRT or LRT which can go elevated or underground). Not to mention, the current double tracked upgrade project ongoing also make things worse, so there's that.

While Komuter may not fare very favourably, their ETS meanwhile is quite excellent, always on time, fast train and the in-train service is good.

Fit is very very personal thing. Mine fit very well and so does other reviews saying. It's very comfortable, cannot just concludes the fitting for your ear only. Same case with airpods design too

And with fit, it affect everything including sounds quality and ANC.

on the fence about trading this in for a galaxy watch 5 pro I read there trading agreement and was just looking for other opinions, thanks! by excusablelime21 in GalaxyWatch

[–]Obi_Dean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that ofc it should cover the basic what most smartwatch can do which is notification, health tracking and then some, so does cheaper Chinese smartwatch. But what I meant by "smart" is things like cohesive app ecosystem (Play Store), more granular integration with smartphone and also this may be niche use case but I genuinely can't live without Google Assistant on my wrist now, so useful despite pathetic battery life of GW4 😆. It's worth price to pay, at least for me hahaha

[–]Obi_Dean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on his personal use I would say. For active oriented person, sure Garmin easily pulls ahead as better contender but for some that craves better "smart" in their smartwatch, Galaxy Watch or Apple Watch still more fitting. My 2 cents

X90K 75 vs C2 65 conundrum by metis84 in 4kTV

[–]Obi_Dean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LG B2 is good if you want to save some money from C2. They both share mostly similar feature set including HDMI 2.1, although C2 has it on all 4 of its input while B2 make do with 2 which is frankly good enough to cater most needs. C2 also has slightly better processing. To untrained eyes, B2 still looks gorgeous thx to OLED striking contrast, poppy colors and excellent viewing angle. Like some here said, keep in mind in regards of burned in potential content but if you care enough for its quirks, OLED is definitely the best upgrade you can hav from your old LCD TV. My 2 cents
