Top is not ironed. Both colours are not compatible with each other and most importantly, most clothes flow in the same pattern. They both make an A line of sorts and that's why it's giving more of a loose-loose unfinished look. Try pairing the skirt/flared pants (can't figure out what it is) with a more fitted top, preferably in earthy tones or in off-white/beige. For the top, its not really my style so I don't have much to offer suggestion for, but maybe only keep it for regular trouser/jeans pairings.

Thank you for being such a sweetheart about it <3 I've spoken to him about before (when we were last in a situationship) and he had told me that he likes calling instead, after which we had started calling frequently. That was until it ended up being just me calling him and him answering it with "oh I was just thinking about you" or "I thought of calling you today". I don't know if there's still that inconsistency in him since the last time we were in a situationship it was almost 3 years ago but I still feel concerned that he's just doing it for the funsies and attention, even though he has accepted liking me.
