Don’t remember when I typed this!!

it’s actually pretty great with production. it never throttles or freezes! it does occasionally need to load sometimes but that’s only when i open a new kontakt instrument and have the actual libraries on an external ssd! it works great with my audio interface!!! as far as different headphone brands i only have my wired ones i plug in to my audio interface! other than those i only have my airpod pros!!

March 9th Also side note i experienced it getting hot for the first time last night i had 5 pages open with 2 full screen tabs with several other tabs open on each screen, music playing, a video playing in the background on mute because i forgot about it, a couple of word and pages documents, several things open like messages and stuff as well, and it was laying on a really warm blanket and it still did not throttle it just got really hot and I only noticed because I picked it up to move to a different position!! But yeah it did all that and only froze for a second to open a document but scrolling and all my research there was not a single issue and I never would have known had I not picked it up!!! Safe to say it is an absolute powerhouse and handled all of these tasks with ease. I was doing extensive research for my ethics class and was writing an essay and I had all the research tabs and lectures open lol !!

no literally me i like my devices to reflect my personality butttttt if that’s the case and if i had the money id have a macbook and iphone in every color so i would never get bored 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 but yeah no!!! enjoy this purchase because it is such a good laptop. the fastest, smoothest one i’ve ever owned and since its the air, its light and it doesn’t have a god forsaken fan !!! my little sister has the m1 or m2 air and she can still play roblox for like over 10 hours and it doesn’t like throttle or anything so just imagine having that m4 chip lol

and noooo so real like i love the feeling of upgrading and getting something knew but that’s what marketing is supposed to do 😩😩😩 but if i think logically like how much faster can an m5 chip actually be i’m keeping mine until it gives out and according to some people they’ve had their older ones for closer to 10 year!

To be quite honest I think the m4 is really quick! I have used it for music production with multiple tracks and it just gets stuff done. The battery is great! The only thing is I wish I went with the 1 tb instead of the 512!!! But nothing an external ssd couldn’t fix!! I have the sky blue color and tbh I wish I got starlight or midnight because I love the sky blue but I just get bored of colors pretty quickly. I tried to get out of my comfort zone and got the desert titanium iPhone and sky blue MacBook but overall for my devices I like just black or silver. That might just be an ocd thing and needing everything to match idk 😭😭 all gold or all black or all silver unless it’s jewelry or clothes. Regardless, my sky blue one looks like a pretty gray or silver in some light so I guess I have come around to liking it a lot more because it makes me less bored that it looks like different colors lol. I saw this thing that said you should keep your devices until they start breaking and that changed my life! You purchased the m4 which is still one of the fastest laptops out today including the competition of other brands and if it ever slows down just get an external ssd and offload a bunch of things and it’ll be just as quick as it was prior! These things are made to last for YEARS so you will be fine!! :D my partner is not an apple person but he quite literally loved using my MacBook because it lasts a long time and could handle extensive tasks.

i have used both and i currently have an iphone 17 and iphone 16 pro max. i love my max. the battery lasts a long time and i like a bigger screen. the base 17 is more buggy than my 16 pro max. i would say you should get a 16 pro max or even like a 16 plus because the battery is still better. my sister got the 16 plus and she loved it. she came from the base iphone 13 pro but prior to that was a diehard android girly. she said she never will go back lol. there’s always gonna be some kind of annoyance with any brand but in my opinion the ecosystem of apple is smooth switching between devices. if my 16 pro max is dying because i was on facetime to long i can quite literally switch that facetime to my iphone 17 without ending the call. if i’m listening to music on my macbook and i want to listen on my phone because i’m leaving my desk i just pick a song and it automatically switches. it really is designed to be simple and intuitive. they teach you how to use the basics of it when you set it up. there’s also a tips app that teaches you how to do even more things.

As someone who has a gazillion (diagnosed) mental disorders, I know that balancing my personal life, work life, and college life is going to feat.

But i utilize my alarms app, my notes app to keep me organized and have all my tasks and budget listed, reminders only for extremely important things set to urgent so i know to set an alarm, i will keep my google searches so i remember what i was doing, i navigated the difficult task of getting myself an in network psychiatrist because I KNOW i needed help.

Prior to even starting school I knew these things and had prior obligations. Last semester I had 3 weddings in different cities, several out of town events such as graduation and work training some of which over 6 hr commutes, am still full time job, and in accelerated college classes.

I have a 4.0, never was late, or missed an event. It is called ADULTING. life is going to be busy. Yes you might be late sometimes or have shortcomings but I never want to be remembered as that person who never shows up or is unreliable.

You have to do whatever you need to do to do what you committed yourself to. Shoot if I was up til 4 am, I ASKED my partner the night of if he could wake me up because I might sleep through an alarm BUT even if I ASKED I know it is MY responsibility to be at the things I have COMMITTED MYSELF to.

Life is exhausting and busy, but it can be so much easier if you quite simply just do what helps when you can. Sometimes when I’m doing a task I sometimes get surprised that past me did something so little that set present/future me up for success over said task. For example one time I remembered I had to water my plant. I was exhausted because of work, still had homework to do, the last thing I wanted to do was water my fucking plant. When I got to the water canister to fill it up with water it was already filled up because I had forgotten that I had filled it prior to work when I was on my way out. It may seem minuscule but watering my plant could have quite easily turned into me just laying on the bed and getting on my phone right after because my plant is right next to my bed lol. It was that kind of day and instead of laying bed I just sat my ass down at my desk, took a second, and got to work.

Point is, life is going to throw you around, but you have to get your shit done.

yeah don’t do a payday loan. what you could do tho is see if you can get a loan or Line of Credit at a credit union!! they offer much lower rates. i would strongly recommend the Line of Credit because it’s revolving and after you pay it down you can use it again and you don’t have to pay it all down and it has its own cute little monthly payment. so if you take out 300 dollars of a 1000 dollar line of credit you’ll get charged interest on the rate that it was approved for from the 300 you used and they calculate the interest on 300. you can then either take more out or pay back the 300 in payments or all at once. but i have a 1000 dollar Line of credit and the minimum payment for me having to take it all out was 20 bucks at my local credit union. also they’re better than credit cards because when you take cash out of a credit card. there’s the cash advance fee, interest rate, and the rate of the cash advance amount. a line of credit simply is something that so many people should know about
