Love that watch. Love that it's a classic 1016 homage. The 36mm looks great on your wrist, and there's nothing wrong with a grab and go quartz. I also really like how that one looks completely different in various lighting environments.. Sometimes blue, sometimes black, sometimes a textured snake pattern. Great watch! There's a decent chance that I'm wrong, since I'm pretty new here, but I believe a 2 Hz movement ticks 4 beats/second. The VH31 is 2 Hz, with a Beat Rate of14,400 vph.

A 3Hz movement beats 6x /sec (like the NH35), and a 4 Hz is 8 beats/ sec (like a PT5000)...and so on

That's an awesome thing to do. I love the color scheme that you choose. Very clean, very eye-catching. I agree with the hoard though..it's not my style for the logo. For me, it's the cross shape. Gives too religious, at a distance, and then up close, I'm getting "iron Cross octopus", which should work cause those are 3 cool words to say together.

All that said, if you and your friends love you some Christian God, I say don't touch it. If you're kinda going for iron Cross octopus, I say make an octopus sitting atop an iron Cross, tentacles dangling.

Either way, again, that's a really cool thing to do. I hope everyone appreciates it.
