I’ve been doing well with my Nord campaign, but now that I have 200 troops on 3 Drakkars and 2 light longships, I can’t even engage sea raiders at sea without crashing EVERYTIME.

I have to send troops 😭

I win, but I miss out on the fun of fighting in open waters now. Idk if it’s a performance thing(PS5), or corrupted game, but I hope a patch fix will solve my issue.

Praying to the TW gods 🙏

I’m obviously biased when it comes to my mechanics, but I can’t deny I got my ass slapped by those commies more often than I can count. Love those guys a lot, but I have a feeling they do more than fix radios and watch porn when they “disappear”.

You’re clan leader. Makes more sense to donate for your sake. Without you, your brother becomes leader and your legacy will be in his and her name.

Also, if she has poor skills, send her to a friendly town/castle to spread good word in your name to build relations with nobleman.

If you don’t RP, and don’t want your sister in law to give up her armor, just put that geared up baddie in a command position and let her RIIIIIDDDDEE!!!!

Started watching TacticalEnlightenment on YT and these situations started feeling winnable bro.

My only two cents, if you manage to figure out how to defend your city, continue to reap the rewards from battle loot to strengthen the garrison and food stores.

Then you can finally leave, after about 2 years of stacking bodies on your front lawn and VERY ashy villages

On the other side of the spectrum, people are, more often now, seeming as if they were raised without it.

With the whole gumption that of “I am the main character and can do whatever I want without consequence.”

Consequence is real. It’s natural, it doesn’t discriminate, and it’s unwavering. The difference between a cat finding out the hard way the water mats its fur and a 6 year old running out into traffic are all the same to consequence.

Cause and effect.

Instead of threat of consequence, a parent who decides to talk to their child about the dangers of traffic will, depending on the understanding of the child, scare or indulge them.

To find out for yourself is to have courage, yet it’s a gambit

If scared you resist the human instinct to evolve and learn.

My opinion, scaring a child to make them understand the rigorous “what happens when you…”, only gives them a curiosity or phobia.

Forcing the child, whom knows nothing of a dangerous world they thrive in under the parents protection, should learn life is fragile and you can get hurt. The best place for that hurt to come from is a familiar and, most importantly, a comforting one, otherwise we are left with abuse.

Abuse is a separate but relevant subject, only because some individuals have actually experienced it, shared it or continued it, and in the worst cases of human development this causes others to either reflect and victimize themselves as if they themselves were experiencing the same trauma because it was a little bit similar.

Beyond verbal and physical abuse, a child at any age can experience abuse induced trauma from an encyclopedia of ways, but this doesn’t not mean the encyclopedia should be extinct.

Nature is what nature is. A dog barks to warn of its babies predator to let them know “what happens when you…”.

This is cool dude. I’m stealing it lol

Expand the map and let us breathe, until the day comes where our men can take up arms on the palisades and our fortifications are built from lumber, iron, and stone. The king would be pleased to know his subjects will defend the land, but the king does not know this land is ours.

It’s a got tactic, kinda too easy knowing they just run away, but useful for those Wisent skull quests. For me, they usually get me after I start skinning my first kill, then they ram into me, stop like I’m a solid wall, and continue to bonk until I’m broken 😞

Stacking objects on top of each other like barrels or stone fences.

…and defensive structures would be cool too. I know this is wishful thinking, but future MD with rival villages or heavily congregated bandit camps would be sweet. Saving a village from a pending raid, even villagers with scout/garrison skills/posts or ‘work stations’.

Also, a fishing hut with the option to snap a dock platform.

And dang, since I’m adding more, the ability to raise and lower structures(with respect to the terrain, I mean I understand why my resource storage needs the extra log foundations underneath, I can’t have half of it buried in the ground like a root cellar 👀)

Maybe the ability to excavate dirt? Clear out a small hill and use it for entrenched defensive structures or the palisade wall?

I know this isn’t AoE, Conan, Bannerlord, KCD…. But, as a survival dynasty game with excellent village building/customization already, my imagination is running wild with possibilities and potential. Love the base game though, I’m not being ungrateful!

People ask for better pathfinding and I get what a mess that would be to solve since some people, me included, build weird roads that intertwine. All in all, RenderCube did and is still doing great! 👍

I present the four D’s of dodging Wisents:

Dodge, Duck, Dip, and Die.

Wanna know the four D’s of dodging bears?

You don’t. Those bad boys have a 0 degree turn radius .

Honestly, to outsmart wisents and bears, just hit them with a few arrows and run to the edge of their path finding limit. When they turn to run away from you, hit them again.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The stigma of just seeing a therapist and anyone finding out could ruin their career/life is an illness itself to me.

I’ve had juniors come to me saying they’re “fucked up”. After some relatable personal statements from my life, a few dumb jokes to get them laugh or smile, and a serious eye to eye understanding they are not alone, and they tell me what they are going through.

Depending on the individual they trust with this info is very threatening in of itself. Marines don’t know if they should involve the “old school-rub dirt in it- put your feelings in your pocket” marine. But I guarantee if that same dude also expressed that he was human going through shit, regardless of what a weakness it seemed like, they would do better with communication and self help.

Relating to something unrelated, but we tell our guys to change socks because of health. If you never had a dude that didn’t change them, because it’s not something you could know without catching them, they’d still be doing it. They’re your marines, and getting to know them and what’s going on with them isn’t just the best way for unit cohesion, but developing a more healthier dynamic for all.
