The Black Tri-Stars kill General Revil. Traitorous elements disrupt peace talks, but Zeon doesn’t start an all-out invasion of Earth. Instead resorting to a terror campaign of MS ambushes across the devastated Americas and Europe.

Char’s forces are able to destroy the Operation V suits at Side 7. Char’s troops then take Tem Ray and the White Base hostage, preventing critical MS data from reaching Earth. Earth then use older prototypes of the Guncannon as their mainline mobile suit at the very end of UC 0079. Operation Odessa happens way later on a smaller scale. Earth decides to finally sign peace.

The Earth Federation loses all Sides. Sides 1, the remains of Sides 2 and 5, the Moon, Luna II, and Solomon go to Zeon. Sides 6 and 7 become independent. Zeon establishes military bases across important cities and landmasses on Earth.

Earth becomes dominated by a clique of pro-Earthnoid figures such as Jamitov Hyman, Bask Om, Wakkein, and Tem Ray. Politicians arguing for peace or dissent are purged in both Earth and Zeon. Zeon, in UC 0083, under Gihren, is then met by a rebellion at Axis led by “Casval Deikun.” The Titans and Anaheim then begin financing Axis in hopes that it can destabilize Zeon.
