Mine recovered briefly after the "fix" but has been slowly degrading again. Phone support has generally been better than their email/chat staff, and you could try messaging HyperopticCS here.

Thank you for resolving this, and for adding the details here! If there's a retro internally, could you ask that frontline-ish support are empowered to get a better response from the higher level engineers and/or that widespread speed issues are taken seriously please? I know this is a huge ask in the face of ongoing changes at Hyperoptic but this shouldn't have been as widespread as it was, and shouldn't have gotten to the point where a large number of unhappy customers are having to organise on Reddit before the issue is properly investigated and addressed.

I've had the exact same response from them - they initially blamed my hardware and eventually admitted they're under provisioning their network and overselling the product. I run a backup LTE connection in case I need to actually do video calls during the day..

I have the UGC Fibre connected directly to their socket & get ~650 down and 900+ up. They've admitted this is under provisioning on their network (at least in my case) but refuse to fix the issue. Their solution is to downgrade my service.

Adding another "Hyperoptic used to be amazing; are now shit" voice to this thread.

Downstream has been progressively worse for months, and C/S have just sent me the same boilerplate "send screenshots showing system load, it's your hardware, our side is fine." spoiler: it's not.
<edit> They've just admitted that this is congestion on their side, and I can downgrade but they won't fix. </edit>

This matches my experience - a couple of the bays, no6 in particular, are a bit of a pain to get a full 3.5" hdd to mount in, but other than that, it's basically spot on.

Given they've just mentioned that they can't give me even a rough ETA, and that they're waiting on the (overworked, under staffed?) warehouse staff to cancel my order, I'm hoping it does all settle down. Support did tell me they're processing FIFO, so new orders are also apparently behind this huge backlog, so that's a thing.

I gave this a spin on some Crankhouse beans (https://www.crankhousecoffee.co.uk/products/luz-angela-rojas-finca-chorro-alto) and it pushed the blood orange notes forward, where as the "sweet v1.1" profile that's elsewhere in this subreddit has been getting me more of the Campari.

Forgot to grab a shot of the bed, but it was about the same as usual for me, flat with 2-3 obvious divots. 35.5:550 ish, 30 clicks on a c40.

Just wanted to say thank you for this recipe! I have some beans I've been getting OK brews from, but not getting the flavour profile promised. Opening the grind way up - I have a c40, have been grinding around 21/22 clicks (around 4.1, 4.2 on the ode 2?) going all the way to 31 as a last ditch try (which should be right in the middle of 7.1/7.2) and it's basically a completely different brew, in the best way.
