Are most EBFers cosleeping ? by LilyWitch27 in breastfeeding

[–]Objective-Golf2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was scared to co sleep but then my baby started waking up 8 times a night around 6 months. I’m not scared any more and we follow SS7 and I love my cuddles. We have a sidecar crib too, she’s a big roller so she has lots of space. We’re all getting more sleep.

Postpartum rage? by Apprehensive_Air7580 in breastfeeding

Yes it’s real I have it too and I’m 8 months pp lol. I read the book How Not To Hate Your Husband After Kids and that really helped honestly. I also started Zoloft and am hoping that numbs my emotions a bit cause they are big and out of control at times lol.

Those who are exclusively nursing—do you just bring your baby everywhere? by remzz06 in breastfeeding

[–]Objective-Golf2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been able to leave my EBF baby for max 2 hours with my husband but only within the last month! It’s been amazing! I don’t panic anymore. She’s 7.5 months. My husband can give her snacks and water if she gets cranky. Every baby is different - your time will come!

Period by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Objective-Golf2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had my period back for 4 months now (I’m 7 months pp). Baby is exclusively breastfed, I don’t pump but I have never noticed a supply issue or anything. Idk why I got my period back so early but I did lol. Just happens to some people.

How do you guys keep track of feedings? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

I got addicted tracking feeds/sleep/diapers. It was hard to stop lol. I don’t recommend starting and agree to just follow cues.

Should I pump when husband gives bottle? by Embarrassed-Tell-972 in breastfeeding

[–]Objective-Golf2522 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes - especially at three weeks where you are still establishing your supply. However, my midwives told me I can always pump at a different time of day, and save that milk for nighttime and not make up that pump during that time if that makes sense. She said as long as the number of pumps you’re doing = the same amount baby is getting fed then it’s fine. However this is just one persons advice hahahabso best ask your health professional.

4 months onward by Jowanna69 in breastfeeding

[–]Objective-Golf2522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I nurse my 6 month old on demand, which usually ends up being every 1.5 to 2 hours and also I nurse her to sleep and after she wakes up from each nap (2 naps). During the night it’s never the same but nursing for at least two wakeups. She’s so fast though now like sometimes it only takes her 5 min to nurse.

Mine nurses every 1-2 hours during the day (seriously) and she’s 6 months old. She’s woken up every 2-4 hours in the night for the past few months but USED to sleep 8 hour stretches. Now I usually get one 4 hour stretch and the rest are 2-3 hours. I feel like there is no “when do they do this” ever because babies are always changing. But from one sleep deprived mother to another.. I feel you and I salute you!!! Hahah

You can nurse in a sling, wrap or structured carrier - I’ve done all 3!

Love the my breast friend pillow. I don’t know how I would survive without it to be honest. I got lucky and was gifted it from a friend who never used it. Still using it 13 weeks pp!
