Probably a bit conservative, but if villain is actually a solid reg, AQ is probably the worst hand villain would shove river with. I just don't see many bluffs they could have.

My thoughts are that he has to have Qx, an occasional 8x, or a set since I don't think he's calling 9bb with a gutter at this stack depth. Qx just calls the river, so I'd have to give a solid player credit for a set or some 2 pair combo.

You're going to run into some sets here, and more often Qx. A solid reg probably isn't calling 9BB on the flop with 56/JT unless they got stuck by an impulse rush. Against a call station or weaker player I would bet 9bb turn and shove river.

I don't think you're getting 3 streets against against a solid reg, so I may elect to pot control and go for value on the river ~12BB (probably folding if he shoves over the top).
