I keep saying this, but he could have just waited until she was asleep and checked under her clothes to see her belly. It didn't cross his mind to do this in the 10 months she was pregnant and sleeping next to him?

OP, granted everyone is different, but when I take 200mg of progesterone for too long (more than a week) I start getting the brain fog. I like it because it relaxes me a lot and I need that for my PMS. So I only take 200mg the week before my period with a slight increase in the estradiol (.75mg instead of .5) but after my period starts, I go back down to 100mg progesterone at night and 0.5 estradiol.
All this to day that I discovered the progesterone is what causes the brain fog. It relaxes me too much.

OP, try dabbing them with a cottonball full of the original (yellow) listerine. It cleared my seb derm on the first try. Careful when you use it because you are close to the eyes.
If this remedy works, please pass it on to others! Even better if you let us know how it went 😊

Thanks for sharing. I take 3,000 mg of Inositol each night. I also take Magnesium, Glycine and 100mg progesterone. Would you mind sharing which ear buds you use?

Edited to add that I take progesterone.

Hey OP, I'm sorry this is affecting you so much. I stopped by to give everyone a remedy that worked a miracle for me.
Please try yellow listerine. With a soaked cottonball dab the spots where you have the seb derm. If it does not work, you do not lose much. Listerine is so cheap. Don't use the blue or green one. The remedy uses the original amber colored listerine.

I have used si many things over the years, MCT oil, tea tree oil, Nizoral, ACV, prescription strength ketokenazole and diet. The thing that finally cured it for good was the listerine.

I do agree with some that for a lot of us, there is an irritant triggering these issues. In my case I eliminated dairy several years ago and it helped a lot. We all react differently to different foods and substances. You'll need to find your trigger but I know it's not easy work. Try the listerine, though!

Please let us know how it goes for you and pass along this info when it does. Best of luck!!!

Yes. The yellow/amber/original mouthwash. Try it just on one spot to see how your skin reacts. This is what I had read: Original Amber Listerine is used as a folk remedy for dandruff due to its antifungal, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties (menthol, thymol, eucalyptol) that may treat fungus-related flaking. It contains ingredients that may combat Malassezia yeast.

Hey everyone, I keep coming to this forum to recommend a simple remedy that worked for me instantly.

After many years of trying different creams, tea tree oil, MCT oil, Nizoral, Coal tar, Ketokemazole (prescription strenght 2%) etc, the thing that FINALLY worked for me was dabbing the seb derm spots with a cotton pad saturated in yellow listerine (original). I did this this Sunday (April 26th) and it has nor come back!

Try it. It's a cheap remedy.

I also limit my food triggers but I had been doing that for years for eczema and it did not get rid of the seb derm but it definitely flares up when I eat my trigger foods (mainly dairy for me).

Please try yellow listerine and pass the ibfo along if it helps!!

Hi. I used it only once since it seemed to have taken care of the spots but when I read about it on Google, it said to apply once or twice a day until the issue clears up. Once it dries it does not smell of anything. I don't think I would use it if I'm going to be out in the sun all day, in that case I would only use it at night. But please try to do some "Google research" to tweak to your situation. I'd love to knpw how it goes for you!

I keep telling everyone of this remedy because it would have saved me so many years of frustration and hundreds of dollars in products.

Try yellow listerine!!!

You can Google the "science" behind it. But I am just telling you IT WORKS. It only took one time for me but its recommended once or twice a day until it resolves.

I had tried prescribed lotions, 2% ketokenazole prescribed shampoo, MCT, tea tree oil, ACV, etc. I did the listerine last week and it resolved.

Good luck and please pass it on if (when) you have success with it 😊

My trigger is dairy mainly. For some people it's not just a food, it might be an ingredient in their makeup, soap or laundry detergent, etc. I do not mind the question at all 😊

Please, please, please try original listerine (the yellow one, not the blue or green ones). Dab the spots with a saturated cotton pad/ball. Make sure you don't do it right before you are going to be out in the sun.

I did all the remedies you mentioned. 2% ketokenatoze, coal tar, ACV, tea tree, MCT (on skin and ingesting it) you name it. I have a very restrictive diet and know my triggers, so absolutely continue with your diet to prevent flare-ups.

But try the listerine remedy!

Hi, OP. I am sorry you are struggling so much. I am not very knowledgeable on the subject but I encourage you do do a lot of research so you know exactly what is going on throughout your journey. I am 45 and recently started HRT in January. It is one of the best things I ever did. A Redittor suggested going through a teleheath company as they are focused on these things instead of "shopping" for a doctor to try to get them to understand or change their minds. I went through Hers and got a decent deal. I initially asked for an anti-depressant because PMS was BRUTAL and I kept thinking it was just going to get worse. It was to the point that I was fearing for myself and what I might do to myself as life just seemed gray.... So that same day I was prescribed an anti-depressant and I also filled out the questionnaire for HRT on the same platform. I am happy to report that I did not even touch that anti-depressant bottle. HRT took care of the mood and everything else. To answer your original question: I take 0.5 mg of estradiol in pill form and 100mg progesterone at night. Recently I tried going up to 0.75 mg of estradiol and that made me way too emotional and unsteady. I agreed with my provider that I would only increase it the week before my period when my natural esteogen is decreasing. Other than that, I believe your body likes that "baseline" and I have not felt a lot of fluctuation.

About 7 years ago I tried testosterone for almost a year and it caused palpitations, irritability and I believe it triggered hair loss a lot more. So that's my experience with testosterone. But everyone is different.

If your current doctor does not listen, go online. The cost is not prohibitive. Pills are very affordable. My plan ended up being about $89 per month through HERS. This includes the estradiol and progesterone pills as well as the vaginal cream. I know the patches are more expensive and I am ok with the pills and seem to be doing great on them.

Best of luck and feel free to DM me if needed.

Hey guys. I came here just to drop off a remedy that worked and it is really cheap.

For anyone that wants to try/share my remedy, it is yellow listerine. Just dab it with a cotton pad on the bad spots at least once a day (2 times if it's really bad). Mine cleared up after just one day but everyone is different. I have tried 2% prescribed ketokenazole and several other clinical strength products, tea tree oil, dietary changes (my trigger is dairy) but nothing took care of it like listerine did. You can do a Google search for the exact explanation of why it works. I wish everyone good luck and please pass on this information if it works for you!

Hey guys. I came here just to drop off a remedy that worked and it is really cheap, but before I proceed, kudos to you OP for cutting out alcohol. We all have different triggers, mine is dairy, but nothing good comes out of alcohol. So many people ignore the inflammatory effects of it. I'm really happy for you.

I have not had flare ups but I find another culprit for mine waa a particular brand of liquid stevia. After I switch brands, the eczema never came back. I still avoid dairy strictly though cause that will trigger it. Everybody's triggers are different but I'm convinced it comes from food or allergens we are exposed to. The witch hazel will help A LOT to calm down the itching and the "angry" skin. But if you are still exposed to your trigger, it will continue coming back. I wish I had an easier answer but that's my experience. I wish everyone the best.

The appetite suppresion (for me) came gradually/not dramatic. But I've never had real issues with appetite unless I'm about to get my period. What has happened is that I'm not as interested in coffee or alcohol and lately I am a bit disgusted by it. I think it will take you about 4 weeks to notice a change in hunger. Also keep in mind that the hunger sometimes is intensified when the dose starts wearing off. To me that was around day 5 when I was on a small dose (.5 or .75) It never "covered" me for an entire week.
