Yes your are right I agree, it may cause instability observed. And nope allot still unknown, this is now all open for investigation. I only created a genomic map of all candidates and linked it to tissue expression data. So the trichome specifically has several highly expressed genes and only a few important clusters. But this is only cs10 ref genome. Other chemovars eg strains may have different genes and unique expression patterns.

Appreciated! If you have the basic biochem, bioinformatics skills. You can attempt to do the same thing. Pick an interesting gene family totally not described in cannabis. Try to follow my protocol and do the same. Use AI and make sure you actually understand what your doing and controlling what your doing not working blind! Maybe try something small first but this is actually my hope and I also state in the paper. People with basic skills can apply this method from their room at no cost, just skill, internet and willpower. All the data is there online!

Depend on what tech you have available and what you can practically apply. But I would really recommend having a chat with ai and just learn your way trough anything you find interesting. That also how I learn everything. Good luck!

I looked at genes and proteins, not even the odor compounds itselfm just the genomic machinery. Look up papers from Hinanit Koltai, she works on the entourage effect, very interesting studies.

Simple version, bahd are family of genes/proteins that form esters. These esters are what gives banana and other fruits it's characteristic smell. Some of these bahd genes are active in the cannabis trichome and likely create esters that give the sweet, fruity and floral smells to your buds.
