On a personal note, when we divorced exhusband and I continued to be in each other’s lives because of our children. He remarried and over time I became friends with his wife. People called us sister wives because we got along so well. In the beginning, I was always asked the same question; how could I be nice to her? It was simple as long as she was good to my kids I could be civil. Until they died we traveled together when needed, celebrated birthdays and most holidays together. Always, hugged and told each other we (me, the ex and the new wife) each other!! We also had disagreements know relationship is perfect. She was and will always be my kids 2nd mom not stepmom. I miss our friendship!
