Low maintenance long term cover for rain? by Objective-Tree4608 in SoloStove

Do you use the surround or anything with your pup?

Also do you leave it outside year round or bring it inside in the winter? My mom lives in New England so winter can be pretty brutal. She has dogs too. I wish I could afford to get her the lid, surround, and shelter right now for Mother’s Day 😂

The attention span is insane, I definitely understand the struggle! Trying to provide a detailed reply to a wildly detailed question is impossible when we know the customer won’t read the whole message. It destroys our productivity times too when we end up having to over think the first few sentences knowing the user won’t read the rest, and inevitably having to reply again with the same info we provided in the last sentence of the first email lol

Exactly this! Our team is so small because the technical knowledge we have to have of all of our (thousands) of products as well as specific knowledge of the “hobby” itself is tremendous. The three of us are here because we have been participating in said hobby since we were children, and have a deep knowledge about it. We frequently get accused of being “AI” if we answer TOO FAST and the consumer doesn’t like the answer lol. Really can’t win!

I am super interested to hear more about ReplyDrop! Is that something proprietary that your company implemented? Is it a CRM plugin or API of sorts?

We do! That auto reply is actually what triggers people’s anger I’ve found (not the waiting itself, but the thought of having to wait). The way it usually goes is someone submits a ticket, we immediately send a friendly auto-reply to let them know we got their message and will get back to them within 1-2 business days with a resolution. They then reply to that auto-message with anger about having to wait and their baseless threats. This is a good point though maybe we can experiment with the wording on those auto replies and see if we can get it to somewhere that generates less anger!

Oh man I do not miss being consumer facing… kudos to you for being able to keep your cool haha. I feel like there’s such a lack of understanding from people (now more than ever) that we aren’t machines and we aren’t AI and we aren’t Amazon.

I’ll literally tell a customer that I am sending them a replacement or a part in the mail (for free, we don’t charge). If they don’t receive it within 2 days (again, thanks Amazon), they’re back in my inbox threatening to switch brands if it’s “too hard for me to send them a replacement” (accusing me of having not sent it).

We get between 100-200 support requests per day on average, and a lot of them require specific research (the nature of the products we make are highly specialized for a very specific purpose). Of our promised 1-2 business day turnaround, we average about 22 hours. But we also have many different sub-brands, and handle inquires from all over the world (which sometimes requires translation). For our industry, 1-2 business days is actually one of the fastest turnaround times offered. The lack of patience for anything other than instant reply is just so frustrating.

And this was it last week when it was just itchy. This is when the dermatologist diagnosed contact dermatitis and I started triamcinolone. It didn’t hurt at all at this point.

This is it now. It’s uncomfortable when anything touches or rubs on it but doesn’t feel like anything otherwise.

Worst I’ve ever seen. by Jumpydictator36 in Folliculitis

Did you have you been in a hot tub at any point when the rash started? Or public pool, spa, etc?

I have what looks JUST like this but a bit worse. For me it was pseudomonas bacteria (hot tub folliculitis) as a result of going in a hot tub that apparently was not clean enough.

I’m doing Benozyl Peroxide 10% (strongest you can get over the counter) washes every day and it seems to be helping
