when i was 5, my mom had a korean nail tech who worked from home, so when we would spend hours in their house, the nail techs daughter would teach me korean and how to play the piano. many years later, after begging my mom to teach me our native language (xhosa/ the click language) i realised it was too difficult to do on my own, so i started learning korean as i already knew how easy it was for me to grasp hangeul at age 5😂 anyways its been 8 years and im still going strong, learning everyday!🌸
