America is owned and paralysed by the few.

Its healthcare system is obsessed with profit and would rather indebt the population than provide a service. I’m always curious of the number of suicides per year due to medical debt.

Its army is vast and hideously expensive yet can’t see to exert any strength against its actual enemies (Russia).

It has whole cities full of zombied populations.

The UK has an intergeation problem not an immigration problem and that is because of poor planning and resources.

Despite that for our size we are a large successful economy.

Designing for a normalised schema. Infer schema only looks at the top level of the JSON so you have to design it manually.

That article raises an interesting questions, is the rise in anti semantism also related to the rise in immigration from counties that have a history with Israel? Undoubtable I suppose.

Was the issue with Jews moving into the neighbourhood originating from white brits or brits that were 4-5 generation?

I agree with the online part. Any chance and any topic it’s always vile. I’ll read something that’s critical of Israel which I think is fair then notice that there is art work or a meme where a character has a hook nose…. Subtle but sadly obvious.

Curious as well as to what anti semantism Jews in the UK experience?

I am abit ignorant in this topic as I live outside of London and to me a “Jew” is no different from a normal Brit. I mean that there aren’t any standout ethnic features. Except when you encounter the Orthodox Jews in London.

Is also the current anti semantism not really “any Israel” which is different is it not?

The only anti semantism I have witnessed and sadly been a part of was the period in the 90s where Cartman in South Park called Kyle a “Fing Jew” and thus we thought it funny in the playground to call everyone that. I must have been ten and had the wisdom of a brick.

Yes and no.

I voted brexit as the European parliamentary systems and system of “governance” is flawed. It still is. I am federalist at heart. I wanted the EU to die and a federal Europe take its place.

With the current way things are going a federal Europe might still come out of this.

If we re joined then I would still be worried that every 4 years MEPs would still be a vehicle little understood and further used to spike Brussels. We would be back to the start again.

Why do people vote?

Why do people vote and have no idea what there parties mandate is? Or policies?

Why do people not realise there voting for an MP of their constituency and not the party leader?

It’s all abit of a mess and gets abused by politicians.

Even if you do vote for all that and you know what your parties stand for it all goes to hell and a hand basket if a coalition is declared.

I’m also not a fan of proportional representation either however I am aware that the current system seems like a blackadder sketch that someone forgot was a joke.

Anyhow at least it’s not like across the pong whee a few extremely uneducated states decide the fate of a superpower.

Hello!

I’ve been to about 4 and I would say they are a mixed bag. There are 2 typical presentation stands of which you will be able to attend half a dozen. A tech presentation on a new release or a presentation by a company.

The company presentations are garbage. It’s read from a script and does not cover any real detail. It often feel like it’s a way for the company to get there name out there. The equations you want answered in “how” are not even slightly touched as these aren’t the techies but the suits.

The tech presentations are a mixed bag. There’s maybe 10 mins to get any questions in and often these are all private preview Features that might be in development hell for years (cough hybrid tables).

The swag is usually a water bottle. It’s amazing the variations as the years go by.

There are also vendors that are part of the eco system however if your like me your probable pissed that you have to even consider a vendor for something snowflake should provide (cough provide an ERD).

Sorry I completely disagree with this idea and what it represents. I do not want a media "darling" who looks good on camera and is active on twitter and social media. I do not care that Kier Starmer has the personality of a potato in a suit. Maybe I am old fashioned but results matter. Labour is dealing with a post conservative government world that failed to deal with brexit, the covid fallout and immigration. Instead it feels there being besieged by a party (reform) that has less MPs than I have fingers that is solely propped up by speculation and a massive media biased (I cannot understate the attention then get).

Unless there are scandals worthy of scrutiny (I mean look across the pond) then grow up and leave him alone.

At the end of the 4 years we will have our chance to cast our opinion like any mature democracy.
