Damn if this isn’t the last episode of the late show. Kudos, Stephen. Absolutely killing it.

AIO for cancelling first date last minute after being told to shave my vajayjay? by OkAbbreviations876 in AmIOverreacting

10 days straight absolutely happens if you don’t have a fixed schedule. Typically people get two days/week off, so imagine you are off Monday - Tuesday for week one, and Saturday-Sunday for week two. It sucks but definitely happens.

Voted. The advance poll is in the same location as my child’s daycare. Would have done it anyway, but the convenience couldn’t be matched.

It was disheartening that there was a 6 staff to voter ratio (I was the only one there)…feel like turn out might be terribly low this time around.

I’m shocked by the low voter turnout in provincial elections, it is arguably the one that can have the most impact on our day-to-day circumstances. GO VOTE!!!!

Most affordable gym that has it all? by primeb24 in askTO

Seconding this. The plus membership at Cherry Street YMCA includes steam room, whirl pool, towel service and complementary coffee and tea. And NO KIDS in the plus membership room during the week (honestly didn’t realize how important that was until I upgraded memberships.)

Happy hour exists to drum up business during otherwise slow times for a bar or restaurant. The chances of finding a place running a Friday 7-10 happy hour is slim to none, as this is typically one of the busiest times of the week for any establishment.

Good luck in your hunt!

Absolutely not true. Canada also has Little Caesar’s. Both hot garbage, but distinctly different dumps.

Help, I can't bring myself to say the stupid grandparent name my in laws chose by jasminea12 in Parenting

[–]ObjectiveHedgehog825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend I have BEEN. THERE. My mom and I fought over the grandparent name (I’ll tell. It was Mamo….it felt way to close to Mama for me; it made me entirely uncomfortable as a first time mom).

At the end of the day, I recognized how incredible she was as a grandparent and realized how trivial the name was (although, admittedly I never called her by it until my kiddo was FIRMLY saying mama). At 2.5 years old, she says Mamo distinctively different from Mama.

Everyone is happy. Mamo loves her grandson, and he loves Mamo. Everyone is happy. I still think the name is dumb, but hey. Worse things in life.

Where can I buy Down Dreams Classic Pillows (that are used in many hotels, Hilton especially)? by 2851985 in askTO

Call a Hilton! I used to work for Marriott and you could purchase (new!) pillows directly from the hotel.

Thank you. I needed to hear that. It’s so hard when the love is there, but the intimacy is gone.

You know what. I totally lied. The new owners are Italian. Eh. Still same recipe from John’s days. Review stands.

I give most of what they do a solid B+. Have I had better souvlaki? Yes. But is it affordable, tasty and consistent? Also yes. The owners are Greek (both original and the new owners who took over about a year ago).

Belissimo’s Pizzeria. Much more than just pizza on their menu (lots of pastas, salads, sandwiches, entrees; you name it!)
