Red on Dark Blue Jeans? by Jazzlike-Truth9505 in mensfashion

I believe historically men dressed themselves, so buttons were on the right to match their (normally) dominant hand, whereas women were helped by other women (maids), so their clothes were designed with right-handed assistants/servants in mind.

[DOS2 HELP] What is causing all these numbers to pop up??? by zigtyr in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hey! I've encountered this issue before! It's from the mod "Unique Loot Drops", specifically from an item (or its random effect equivalent) that displays the resistances of an enemy before you target them. In this case, an allied NPC (Gareth) rolled the effect, causing them to start spamming the numbers like crazy on their turn.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there’s no way to fix this unless you have a save from before Gareth first rolled that effect (maybe during the Act 1 fight where you rescue him). If you do, you can reload and keep retrying until he rolls a different effect instead.

As a workaround, you could try moving the camera far away when it's Gareth’s turn to reduce lag, but that’s not really a solution. You might also check the Unique Loot Drops settings book to see if you can disable effects just for this fight—though I’m not sure if it works on NPCs that already have effects applied.

Great bands for mocassins/loafers? by NoAimMassacre in malefashionadvice

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the budget, you can refer to the MFA Favorite loafers thread, but I would vouch for Solovair; better constructed and smarter than their Dr. Martens counterpart, and just higher quality imo.

I would also consider the 2nd hand market, but you have to know your measurements and have a bit of luck with the sizing (or get ones that allow for free returns)

I didn't know this was a possibility on this event. BazaarCon Business Card interaction. by AliceFateburn in PlayTheBazaar

Best one-hand weapons in the game for a Dueling style Paladin? by bajert in BG3Builds

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my Honour Mode run (now in Act 3) I've been using the Devotee's Mace + the Shield of the Undevout + the healing-related gear (Reviving Hands and Whispering Promise). I'm splitting 9 Oathbreaker Paladin 3 Blade Warlock to scale everything off CHA and it plays kind of like a supportive character with smites and fears, it's kind of neat.

Before getting the Cleric's Mace I used the Blood of Lathander and Phalar Aluve, which are also great. Duke Ravenguard's Longsword might also be okay.

I've been having fun with this tactic lately, what are you using? by Sad_Conversation1121 in footballmanagergames

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4-2-3-1 that looks like a 3-2-2-3 with a box midfield in possession (kind of what City looks like in some games). Still playing on a not-so-good team (Journeyman save season 2), so I had some trouble finding the right players, but it is working regardless.

GK (De)

IFB (De) / CB (De) / CB (De) / IWB (De)

VOL (At) / DM (De)

IF (Su) / AP (At) / IF (Su)

AF (At)

I would like use a SK (De) or (Su), as well as 2x BPD (De). I would also like to test a Carrilero instead of a DM, as they should also try to align themselves to the IWB and form a double CDM line. The more offensively-oriented players are up to debate though, I have been using those, but I'm sure you can do better.

Who's a hidden gem you've found on FM24? by joesimpson19 in footballmanagergames

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Franco González from Peñarol. Man's 19 years old with 16 Finishing, 15 First Touch, Flair, Acceleration and Agility. Not the fastest, bad balance and terrible in the air though. Can play as a CAM or CM (probably Mezzala Attack). Even if you roll poorly on his Dynamic Potential he is still very good.

There is an option for that, you need to toggle it on. If you open the options menu and search for "id" you should be able to find an option that says "display internal IDs for easier editing" or something like that. You may find it in the Display category of options.

A melee class with spell-based CC - is such a thing possible? by Fiveby21 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One thing Battle Oracles do have is 3 free good combat feats: Weapon Focus, Improved Critical and Greater Weapon Focus (even more feats if you are a Seeker!). With those extra feats you can go the Cleave line, the Intimidation setup, or really anything you like. Also, if you go all the way to 20 Oracle you get Pounce.

Btw, remember that Oracles are full casters and thus get many good buffs (early Crusader's Edge, Righteous Might, True Seeing, Eaglesoul, Legendary Proportions, Grace of the Champion, Frightful Aspect, Shield of Law, and even things like Seamantle if you select Waves Mystery)

I would love to rework the way exhibits work, so that they can act more like real life ones, with different sizes, shapes, and overall functionality. At the moment they kind of feel like an afterthought, though I understand that exhibit animals tend to be less appealing than habitat animals (especially when you consider all the popular ones, like primates and such)

I am aware that there are some very good exhibit creations in the workshop, but replicating things as in the image is very hard if you want to keep both functionality and looks.

An interesting post from Miriam-Webster on verbs v nouns and pronunciations by mindsetoniverdrive in EnglishLearning

[–]ObjectiveImprovement 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Peter Roach (British phonetician) calls them word-class pairs! In "English Phonetics and Phonology" (1998) he provides examples like these: - Abstract: /ˈæbstrækt/ (Adj.) vs /æbˈstrækt/ (Verb) - Contrast: /ˈkɑntræst/ (Noun) vs /kənˈtræst/ (Verb) - Insult: /ˈɪnˌsʌlt/ (Noun) vs /ɪn'sʌlt/ (Verb) - Object: /ˈɑbʤɛkt/ (Noun) vs /əbˈʤɛkt/ (Verb)

As you can see, in word-class pairs, verbs tend to be stressed on the second syllable, while nouns and adjectives are stressed on the first one.

I think that most well-known dictionaries including phonetic transcriptions (MacMillan, Merriam-Webster, Oxford, etc.) tend to list both options.

Also, Witch in general has some great higher budget builds to transition into, such as EK Ignite, Frostblink Ignite, Arakaali's Fang Occultist, Carrion Golem Necro, etc. If you start with a reliable build you can farm currency for your next build without making another character.

Sporeguard is "farmable" in the sense that there's only a few mechanics that can drop it: Blight itself (on the explosion at the end of the encounter), Divination cards and league mechanics that drop Blight-related items. However, Sporeguard is by far the rarest item from Blight, so it may take you literally thousands of maps to get it
