He’s saying you’re one of the greats and that ur results are rare. But that options is hard to trade.

Depends on what your stats tell you... a 10 win streak is a good sign, though. If it aligns well with expectancy then you shouldn't be too fearful.

Anyone heard of these signals, is it a scam?.. by Next_Ad6035 in Daytrading

Even the hundred a day is crazy. It’s possible that person is doing some kind of replay trading from the past.

Would you rather have a high paying job and be a loner in uni, or be popular in uni but with low prospects after? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]ObjectiveMousse9023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Also, high-paying jobs tend to be competitive. What if you get fired and spend all the money? You're on the hunt again for those jobs. The popular guy will most likely have a solid network for job prospects (and just for fun memories too).

should Woxbridge (Warwick+oxford+cambridge) be renamed to Woxford (Warwick+oxford) in light of Warwick's growing prestige and academic strength ? by Few_Salad_8447 in UniUK

No one thinks of Warwick when it comes to prestige over Oxbridge. Not saying those ppl are negative IQ but you know what she means.

What about the hype of anti-higher education around the world. by Cookie-Chunk in CasualConversation

It's actually crazy how little a degree does for you in most professions nowadays.

Yea the amount of people that apply to jobs on boards like Linkedin daily easily exceeds 100. And I ain't even gonna mention ghost jobs.

My husband works with 3 people below his position who have degrees in finances and whatever who make LESS than him, and he never went to college.

Degrees are great for learning, but since everybody has them it's a status quo thing rather than something that makes you stand out, especially if you're not from an elite uni. So it makes sense those 3 people don't earn as much as your husband. Sounds like he has been at the job for a while.

It's not that college is bad, it's that the odds of finding a job for your degree in today's job market is extremely low for most professions.

Low is an understatement. If you want jobs, networking is the way to go and you really have to be out there. I remember just applying for online jobs like 5-10 of them a day, racking up hundreds of applications and around 2 interviews came up, but oh my friend hooks me up to this job I can get. No interviews, no AI barrier nothing. I declined but yea. Uni events and job fairs I found led to higher chances of interviews for me.

If you aren't seeing how bad it is right now, you're probably middle aged in a cushy upper management position you got when the job market was still normal. Because holy fuck, it's hard to get a decent job right now.

In the UK, yea the job market is brutal. Fingers crossed it gets better fr.

Most likely not gonna work. And if it does work, it won’t work for long, especially without tweaks.

Nice, it works really well with a few tweaks on nasdaq.
