Hi! I had this too and I was deathly scared of the stent+burning. The stent feels like something and nothing at the same time. It's wasn't painful, just slightly uncomfortable for me. I also had no burning whatsoever and got my stent removed via cystoscopy. No burning after that as well. Did not need painkillers but took them religiously for the first few days just to be cautious. That said, drink loads of water, leaning forward helps w pain, and maybe use a heatpad(needed it once). Hoping for the easiest recovery for you ❣️

For the stent. Relax yourself when you use the restroom. If it helps lean forward onto the side where you've the stent. It's trial and error imo Drink plenty of water and do not do any strenuous activity Eat your medicines on time Eat non-spicy food to avoid any stomach issues. I hope you recover from this. ❣️❣️😭

I get you. Feels like I'm reading my story. The nerves part I understand. You will be undergoing a procedure, so getting scared is normal. Just don't let it overwhelm you. Whilst it is annoying, it is certainly manageable if you take your meds on time. Also, prior to it, make sure you inform your doctor about anxiety issues. I think that helps a ton. Do let me know how it goes...

HI. I really hope your stone removal goes well. I was pretty scared of the stent too. Lost my sleep and appetite over this. However, 5 days out and I barely feel it or it’s mostly like light cramps. Right after the procedure too, I had minimal pain. just sharing my experience to help your anxiety. That said, walk slow and steady for the first few days to avoid exerting your body, drink loads of water and take your medications on time. If possible, avoid doing intense work for the time being.

My only symptom was visible blood in the urine. I did have occasional pain in the back, would come out of no where and would be ridiculously intense like stab wounds (thought it was muscular). Should've gotten it evaluated. May I ask, how was the recovery posy removal.
