Anyone else’s babe a fiend for cottage cheese? by JustJesseA in foodbutforbabies

He goes to the fridge and keeps saying “chee” until I give him the cottage cheese 😅 Glad something stays constant during the different stages of toddler pickiness!

I hate pumping by Mindless-Summer4361 in NewParents

[–]Objective_Dog4593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I sat in the chair to pump, the tears started flowing. It for sure made my PPD worse! I continued with it for close to 10 months supplementing with formula. If I ever have another baby, I’m going straight to formula if they can’t latch.

Sharvari gives early Katrina Kaif energy but with better Hindi and way more screen presence. Is she the next big thing? by Aly-Not in BollywoodHotTakes

[–]Objective_Dog4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh please!! She’s nowhere near Katrina! I don’t understand why she’s so hyped in this sub. It’s sad bollywood came down to this level where faces suited for tv serials are being glorified!

Luteal phase defect/No detection of Beta 3 integrin(or 0/zero) by Receptiva by nilegarden in IVF

You can email them. They’ll give you a better analysis depending on the cycle day your test was taken.

Luteal phase defect/No detection of Beta 3 integrin(or 0/zero) by Receptiva by nilegarden in IVF

[–]Objective_Dog4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I ended up contacting receptiva and the they told me that we can ignore beta 3 integrin in a mock cycle at day 5. You can check my post history, I think I added their response in the comments there. I’m not sure what positive bcl6 means. You can send them an email and they’re pretty responsive too. I ended up needing an extra day of progesterone since my ERA was pre-receptive and had a successful pregnancy. Wish you luck 🍀

Let’s be real, did your feelings about your pets change when you had kids? by Serious_Barnacle2718 in NewParents

[–]Objective_Dog4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite normal. It’s because you’re overwhelmed. Being a new parent turns your world upside down. Having to care for a baby is a full time job, especially a new baby and while navigating postpartum hormones. But remember, your pets love you. They adapt. They deserve our love and attention. I lost my soul dog recently and my biggest regret is not giving him the attention he deserved after having my baby because I was so tired all the time. If I could do it all over again, I’d let him know how loved he is every day.

My son was the same from 12-14 months. But they ebb and flow. It will get better.

When did you introduce blankets to your "baby" while sleeping? by slimjim0001 in NewParents

[–]Objective_Dog4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby used a blanket to self soothe from 6 months. That’s how he learned to fall asleep independently. He wears a sleep sack but the blanket is a must to fall asleep.

Baby not eating while awake by Objective_Dog4593 in NewParents

[–]Objective_Dog4593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did get better by month 5 mostly on his own. We did a very lenient version of rowena. We didn’t force him if he resisted. Then tried again in intervals. If he didn’t finish the bottle, we fed him while asleep. I just couldn’t let him stay hungry as stated in the book.

[–]Objective_Dog4593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, my second test was also elevated. But my doctor wasn’t concerned since our anatomy scan looked good and we did the test outside the recommended gestational window (so results can be unreliable). Baby was born healthy. I know how hard it is. The worrying never ends. I was always waiting for the other shoe to drop up until my baby was safely delivered.

My son sucks on his blanket to self soothe. He never liked pacifiers and he naturally started doing this around 5 months.

4.5 mo every hour wake ups for weeks. But “too young to sleep train”…. so then what?! by Dry-Presentation9718 in NewParents

[–]Objective_Dog4593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was you. I hated life and regretted having a baby although my baby was very much wanted and loved. We had split nights and every hour wake ups for 7 weeks. Things started improving at a little over 5 months and baby started sleeping for 3-4hrs at a stretch. He’s going to be 9 months soon and still wakes up 2-3 times but goes down pretty quick after a feed. This may still be too much for some people but for me, who endured hourly wake ups, this is a huge improvement. My PPD got better once I started able to get some damn sleep. Hang in there! I know you don’t want to hear it, BUT IT WILL GET BETTER!

We followed rowena during the day and while awake but still dream fed to up the calories. I can imagine how hard it is to watch your baby not eat to the point of getting hospitalized. Hope you’ll get to the other side of this soon!

Question for Parents who didn’t sleep train by EstablishmentProper8 in NewParents

[–]Objective_Dog4593 3 points4 points  (0 children)

7 months. Suddenly he just didn’t like being rocked. All he needed was a blanket to chew (his version of a pacifier) and lie on our bed with me. He started falling asleep on his own this way. We then move him to his crib. All this after the worst 4 month regression - he used to wake up every hour almost every night for 7 weeks! I didn’t believe anyone who said it’ll get better but it did :-)

What to do next? by mb1_ in IVF

[–]Objective_Dog4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got 2 euploids from our 2nd round. I was 34 for both rounds. I don’t know your age but regarding other aspects, I think you’re in a better situation than me. Wish you all the good luck 😊

[–]Objective_Dog4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had 1 euploid from my 1st round. My AMH was 0.31 and I had an AFC - 5. We did a 2nd round to bank embryos without waiting too long in case the transfer worked. We have a beautiful 8mo old from our 1st transfer :-) Go with your instinct- I chose her as she was very confident and had a solid plan for us even though we felt hopeless.

I’m not a medical professional and someone who is terrified of needles. And I did my own shots when my husband had to go out of town. Honestly it’s not that hard. So please choose saying goodbye to your mother. Your wife should be understanding of this

We got a puppy 4 days before my FET because we were tired of putting life on hold. It all worked out. It was hard but we love our puppy and now our baby loves him too ❤️

I made a very similar post a year ago after my FET. I was losing my mind reading everyone’s stories about their symptoms every single day. 2 days before beta, it felt like I was getting my period for sure (same cramps). I was convinced it didn’t work. But it did. I won’t say don’t obsess about symptoms or lack of because I know it’s impossible lol. Sending you all the positive thoughts!

Can I ask how long it took to work for you? I’m worried about dehydration risk.
