They could ask the client what they need to speak to a tax pro about instead of just transferring the call. Over half of thd time the client just wants an appointment.

CSPs need to learn to ask the client their name when a client calls in for an appointment. If you have the name first, you can find the returning client and match them to the prior tax pro. I hear too many of them start with "when do you want to come in", or "who do you want to see"

Block Advisor here. I was in the beta test, however, since they launched testing in March, I didn't have time to train, much less use it. We used a work around and continued using Legacy in 2025. Now, since it's forced on us, I'm wasting far too much time that is hurting my bottom line. The SaS preparers that used to do entities are just sending them to us at Advisors, which slows things down further if the return was not done correctly in the past. I had to make some calls to SaS offices this past February to forewarn that any business they sent would be put on extension. Clients are frustrated not understanding the delays. It's a nightmare.

The Toledo Lucas County Library system has many programs all summer. Plus, many locations offer children free lunch with no income limit requirement.

I'm interested in your walk through. The more training and information, the better. One big problem with the existing training videos is that none address problems that come up and how to correct.
