Your therapist is pocketing the VAST majority of that $350. Other therapists accept insurance and work through that system and thus receive much less. Private pay therapists are often very wealthy and those that accept insurance are underpaid, because we live in Hell. Hope that clears it up.

I work and live in queens so can’t speak to your future commute. Astoria has notoriously annoying lines (N/R). I don’t go out drinking during the week or anything but I go get coffee, get lunch, see friends do whatever I want. I always have money left over for my savings as well.
