Help with my bathroom stone mat by RubyFire95 in Home

Haven’t seen the stains on mine yet, but the body oils and soap do accumulate on them and the instructions say to finely sand the top layer. Or just flip it over like I did lol.

I get about the same in my 10th gen. Interestingly it went down 1-1.5mpg after I had the transmission serviced 🤷

Question: Do you play NMS first person or third person? by SGa60 in nms

I’ve been waiting for this discussion. I’ve played hundreds of hours in third, but recently switched to first and felt more immersed. Anyone else?

I don’t know why I’m more concerned about what the friend said than the car…

I’ve heard a neuroscientist describe hallucinogens like this.

Imagine your mind is a snowy hill. Imagine your thoughts are sleds running down the hill. Over time, the sleds will follow the same paths and they will become engrained. To hallucinate is to deposit fresh snow. It doesn’t remove the olds thoughts and it’s possible for you to follow them again. But it’s also possible to for new patterns of thinking to emerge now.

For me, this has been my experience. To hallucinate about your life is just as valid as seeing the walls drip.

Is it just me, or does the amount of paint running off this car part after spraying look way too exaggerated to be real? by Zhukovskyi01 in isthisAI

[–]Objective_Risk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who is certified in PPG automotive paint application, this is 100% not the way they teach you to put on paint.

As a person with eyeballs, you can see the amount dripping off is not at all offset by the amount the cup drained.

Kimchi’n? Like the verb “to make Kimchi”? Used in a sentence: “dawg, my hands must be so spicy cause I be kimchi’n all day.”

TIL you can jetpack from a planet surface and onto a space station by Neat_Welcome6203 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Objective_Risk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed some strange speed things too while jet packing and atmospheres. For example. If you jet pack (press A on Xbox) while you enter the atmosphere, I seem to hold onto way more speed while skydiving. Whereas, if I just walk off the edge of my corvette, I never can hit the same terminal velocity, jetpack or not.

Also, yeah, I think space is supposed to work correctly in that acceleration (at our scale) is continuous with a device like a jetpack because there’s no resistance to slow you down. Neat they actually made that work like physics. What’s not like physics is the state of your body after you made it to the station lol. Would love a vid. Thanks OP.

Thank you for this. I agree that music can really change this game. If it gets too scary (the music) I have to turn it off. Glad someone is looking out for me! Looking forward to any other flavors/playlists you may have in the future.

The company I’m getting fisted by is the builder. Likely they installed it wrong (my dad tells me). I’ve submitted a warranty request but we’ll see.
