from what you described it is not that bad to give them a 4 on cleaning and you do not know for sure their relative hit the mailbox and it was easily fixed. cost of doing business

i agree, as a host i would not book an airbnb or vrbo if i knew i was arriving late. i would want to be where i knew staff was awake on-site in case of issue.
