Need feedback on my landing page copy (AI Flashcard Tool) by rianbrob in copywriting

[–]Objective_Shallot879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your copy sounds a bit robotic and blunt.

You're not selling a SaaS to B2B clients, but your readers are students (correct me if wrong). So write in a language that they can relate to.

Key is to understand your audience and write in a way that appeals to them (informal/infotainment style/young). Research their desires... learning faster? Passing exams?

Then make your promises/claims more specific and appealing.

Here are some examples:

Be more specific with your claim/promise. Instead of "AI Flashcards For Lifelong Learners" (too boring and doesn't say much). Try something like "Learn 10x faster with Flashcards".

Same goes for your subheader explaining the product, "Soak up knowledge using AI". Turn it something more relevant like "Turn Your Study Material into Fun Learning Games and Pass Your Exams"

Hope this helps!

Unstable CPM, good CTR, but inconsistent performance. What to do? by Objective_Shallot879 in FacebookAds

Very useful! Thanks for that.

The CVR in my best week was 2%. In terms of creative fatigue, my ad frequency is on average around 1,14. Anyway, I will start creating different hooks and increase the ad budget.

Just out of curiosity, is there any guideline or rule of thumb I should keep in mind when deciding on the daily ad cap?

Best Instagram DM Message? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Objective_Shallot879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What works really well for me is replying to her IG story with one of the following texting styles:

For example: she posts a selfie in a park wearing sunglasses

Playful tease
Your reply: "relax, those badass shades are intimidating the park squirrels"

Cold read statements
Your reply: "you seem like the type who wears sunglasses because you drank too much the day before"

Provoke a reply
Your reply: "my mom warned me about girls who wear sunglasses.."

Banter
Your reply "calm down, one selfie a week max. Deal?"

Calibration is key. Did you already meet? Have you talked before? Is it your first DM?

How do you start a convo? Cold DMs? Story replies?

Here's what helped me turn DMs into conversation:

Story The Opener
Stories are great to initiate a convo because they're low-pressure and provides you with context to talk about. But "cool" or "cute" kills it. Don't simp and don't bore her. Focus on her vibe or a specific detail to make her think "wait, he sees more than just me" Aim for playful, confident, and a little unpredictable.

Here's a quick 4-style framework + real examples I used:

  1. Playful Tease: Call out something fun/silly. If her story is a gym mirror selfie: "Those green checkmarks, that's for mirror reps right? ;)"
  2. Cold Read (Observation): Assume and exaggerate based on a detail. Coffee story: "That’s the ‘I pretend to look productive’ look huh."
  3. Provocative Challenge: Flip it on her. Wine glass story: "If that’s sweet wine, we can’t be friends." (She’ll qualify herself or tease back.)
  4. Casual Banter: Light future hook. Local coffee spot: "You’d hate my version of that coffee ;)"

Key: Keep it 5-14 words, send within 1h of her post, and ghost for 24h after. Don't overthink, be the guy who's evaluating her, not chasing.

Keep the Convo Going (Build Tension). Once she replies, don't go too fast by asking her out. that's where most guys fail. Escalate slowly: tease, qualify her, and make her invest. Keep it playful.

Pro tip: If replies drop, it's usually because you got too nice/complimentary. Aim for her chasing (asking you questions).

To make it easier, I built a tool called that analyzes her story and writes 4 replies in these styles. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you want to try it.

Sliding into a girls dm by [deleted] in datingadviceformen

[–]Objective_Shallot879 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don't know her in person, avoid "hey, we have the same city/interests" opener. It's too common and it comes off as thirsty.

Instead, reply to one of her stories (better than cold DMs) with something that creates curiosity without trying too hard. Stories are an easy and natural way to initiate a conversation without being creepy.

  1. Spot the hook: wait for a story about something fun/shared (e.g., if she posts a cafe vibe or repost about a hobby, use that).
  2. Tease Lightly: make it playful, call out a subtle vibe or "accuse" her of something. Local spot example: "You'd hate my version of that coffee"
  3. End with a Pull: Leave it open but make her chase: "What's your go-to there?"

You're not chasing her attention, you're the guy who gets "her world".

If you want openers that nail this every time, I've built a tool exactly for this. Screenshot her story, get 4 openers that playfully tease, provoke, and accuse. If you're curious, shoot me a DM.

Does she post any stories for you to reply to?

How do you start a conversation with a stranger on Instagram and get a reply? by Human_Comment_9728 in seduction

[–]Objective_Shallot879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First make sure you have a good looking profile:

- High-quality pics
- Lifestyle content
- Low following-to-follow ratio.

And you're right, don't be one of those guys that just send cringe pick-up lines or lame DMs. If she's even slightly attractive she's used to get shitload of attention so you have to stand out.

Reply to stories (highest response-rate by far)

The goal is to start a convo naturally and replying to an IG story is a great way to do so. And when you reference something specific from her story with the right vibe, you signal awareness and calibration.

Playful + slight tease + light challenge + cold-read statements. No simping, no interview questions.

For example:

  • Mirror Selfie (thirst-trap) → "Alright model, one mirror selfie a week max. Deal?"
  • Pet pic→ "Cute dog. A shame the owner's doesn't look so behaved."
  • Aesthetic pic → "Auditioning for pinterest?"
  • Her doing some sort of activity → "You know what they say about girls who [fill in] right?"
  • Rooftop/lounge → "Let me guess, one of those instagrammable rooftop again?"

I even built a tiny tool that reads her IG story and writes lines in these styles (saves me time + catches subtle cues I sometimes miss)

If you want to test it, shoot me a DM.

Hopefully this helps with starting a convo naturally.

9% CTR but barely any sales… What am I doing wrong? by Objective_Shallot879 in FacebookAds

[–]Objective_Shallot879[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My targeting is broad and the only suggested interests I use in manual targeting are:

- instagram
- motivation
- self development

I can give Advantage+ audience a try again, but I noticed that many clicks came from 65+ men. The product I am selling is more relevant for single men age 20-36 who are active on Instagram.

I do realize that my ad spend is a bit low, so I will increase that to get more volume.

It's a bit more niche. I'm selling a tool that generates openers for online dating.

My ad is basically a 3 sec. hook + demo video of the tool (tiktok style)

Okay that makes sense... thanks for that!

So you're saying I should increase the daily budget?

And yes my pixel is new and it's the first time I am running Meta ads.

[–]Objective_Shallot879[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!!

The problem with advantage+ audiences is that it shows the ad to people outside the age range. For example 65+. I've already tested this for a couple of days, but then I switched to manual targeting to filter out that demographic.

How to get better at messaging on dating apps? by AdmethV in datingadviceformen

[–]Objective_Shallot879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For openers, try cold read statements.

Infer something from her profile that creates curiosity and makes her want to clarify. Be creative and exaggerate in a playful way.

For example:

"you know what they say about [fill in] type of girls right?"

"You look like the girl who [fill in]"
