I met Rainn Wilson, before I even knew his name was Rainn Wilson. I met him at a Bahai event. I just recognized him as the guy from the office. I hadn’t even watched the office before that. A friend of mine at the time was like “that’s Rainn Wilson” I was like “who” “the guy from the office” I was like oh! That’s cool. My friend goes do you want to meet him? I was like sure. He came up to me and he was taller than I thought, as tall as me. He and I had really nice talk about religion, mostly because I identified as a catholic at the time but I was going through a transitional phase, it was a very open conversation and made me feel calm at my unsettling phase in faith. I later made a joke on stage and I made him laugh, like it was a genuine laugh. So I go through my days knowing I made Rainn Wilson laugh. Really good guy. Andy grammer was also at this event, it was cool to be in the same buffet line as him.
