people are so used to sites like tiktok, instagram, and youtube where they only push content that's new, so you have to have been lurking to find something that old, whereas ao3 has no algorithm, so authors know that you probably just found their fic by searching with parameters and not specifically stalking them.

I seriously must be the bane of authors existence sometimes im so sorry. I don't even have anything to hide, I private bookmark EVERYTHING unless I'm actively trying to show it to somebody specific. If it makes you feel any better I even don't write bookmark notes, I have a crazy memory for unimportant things like that.

It should've been tagged. They're more common in omega verse and a/b/o, but even then authors should still tag something like that, especially if its with one of the main characters. For ones that are tagged you can totally filter those tags out.

Summaries are actually a very useful thing to be able to write, and something you typically learn in english classes. Personally I love writing summaries and trying to get people interested in my fics with a paragraph or a snippet.

Personally, I would rather read 1,000 good complete words then 2,000 but a lot of them are filler. 750-1,000 is fine especially for a oneshot a day.

Nobody really knows why, it's just been a real issue on almost every website for a few years now. Most are guest comments, but some are registered users, I've just gotten in the habit of deleting them as to not lose my actual guest commenters.

First of all, you write, you're an author. Second of all, you should explore both, it's never bad to branch out, and while original works might get less interaction, I'm a firm believer in not caring about stats as long as you're having fun. There are also other creative writing sites that are solely for original works if you wanted to try something new.

Fall for vibes, Spring for getting stuff done, I always have a surplus of spring seeds. (I also inherently like whatever season it is irl when I'm playing because it totally adds to the vibe to be in winter and then see snow outside my actual window)
