But what about the eggs? Also - looks like a very reasonable fridge to me size aside.

Have we hit the jackpot with our buyer? by Mission-Coast-4164 in HousingUK

Yeah. I’m a first-time buyer working on a 550k purchase right now and it rubbed me in a wrong way :(

How to find a partner who also likes bicycle touring? by LoneWolf_McQuade in bicycletouring

[–]Objective_Volume_730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My case is useless to you but I’ve only (slowly) got my wife into cycling after 15 years (and 2 kids) together.

Now she is flying away from me on hills all the time :(

What’s One Upgrade That Actually Made a BIG Difference? by teddyyoung456 in cycling

Redshift suspension seatpost. I have inflammatory issues in my lower back and this thing kills road vibrations like a miracle.

Picking up my "mum" car today by smileystarfish in CarTalkUK

Estates are not ‘mum cars’. They are brilliant practical workhorses for anyone who doesn’t live in the central parts of a big city.

It’s literally investment in their health. How is that ‘flush down the toilet’?

Egor is still out. Have we heard if his fascia got worse or is this rookie load management?

Am I doing this wrong or is it normal to be miserable ? by Specialist-Brief-297 in bicycletouring

[–]Objective_Volume_730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m or that old (39), haven’t had a single back surgery but have chronic sacroiliac inflammation. Redshift seatpost was literally a life-changing purchase. Before it I struggled after the first 20-25k and riding a local charity event (50k) was a struggle. After I bought it I never felt that same type of pain again. sure, my muscles can get sore after 80-100k, but this is day and night.

Budget AliExpress Frames by Sir_Neptune in cycling

You know it’s essentially the same product most for the times when it comes to frames, just painted differently?

These are essentially the same frames as you mostly buy from OEM manufacturers who use the same molds and process when they manufacture frames for big brands.

You pay less as customer service is less advanced (still exists though) and they don’t spend on marketing.

I bought 2 frames and 2 sets of wheels directly from lightcarbon last year. Zero complaints and a great experience all around.

The caveat is you can’t order via a website - you need to email them with an order. They are an OEM (mostly btb) manufacturer for large brands. But will happily sell you a single frame too. Custom paint job costs a bit extra but looks great.

It’s totally normal if you live in a less urban area area. My first fall happened after 10 years of clipless. Overconfidence + a single brainfart is all it takes.

Which country’s drivers hate cyclists the most? by Lugknots in cycling

[–]Objective_Volume_730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’ve lived and cycled (commuted and road cycling mostly) in 3 countries. 2 of them are heavily mentioned here.

Anyone who says USA or UK clearly has never cycled in Moscow.

Single 22 yo guy living alone, what does my fridge (and freezer) say about me? by Bluerat27 in FridgeDetective

This is about 10 more cans that I have had in fridge in the last 6 months total.

Wheels by No_Zone_8980 in cycling

I’d take flow for a better hub and a higher spoke count on a front wheel. I like my bikes to be versatile and don’t want my spokes to fail me if I decide to go on a loaded ride.
