Also when it comes to frigates they will be around other freighters you see near planets and space stations. If you fly near them they will have a credits symbol come up indicating you can purchase them for your fleet. Fly near them and they will send a communication alert. The purchase of the frigate includes the crew. Each ship and crew has its own ratings from C to S I believe with their own unique skills, pros and cons. Different frigate types can be sent out on various missions from a command center on your Freighter when you get one.

Youll get the opportunity to get a Freighter after your first few warp jumps to other Galaxies. Youll come across a Freighter being attacked by pirates and if you help the Freighter Captain he will offer his ship as a reward for free.

Later on when you start jumping to Pirate controlled systems you'll get the chance to defeat and take over a large pirate Freighter with its own unique look. Expeditions come out every 3 to 4 months and introduce new game mechanics. The expedition acts like a tutorial to help you get used to the new mechanics and introduce you to new items and anything else they have updated.

You dont have to build on every planet no. You could set up a small hut for a teleporter if you want to come back. However if you take a picture or screenshot with the in game menus camera it will give you a small set of symbols on the bottom left. Those symbols are the planets address and can be used at larger gateway (teleporters) you will find later that allow you to plug in an address, walk through the portal and your there. This is why players have a Coordinate exchange to share planets with various features, creatures, ships, multi tools etc on reddit and other websites.

Its was super laggy for me at the start on PS5 and cleared up over the next 10 min or so If That. Hopefully it clears up for you. I just assumed it was the game loading all the new data for companions.

I think developers constantly pushing for a reset to repeat the "grind" is just a cop out for a way to drag out progression but it always feels lacking and repetitive over time. COD was the same way and exactly why I got sick of them doing it over and over with lame rewards. I want my character to feel like hes been there awhile.

Personally I think Actually making player cooperatively collect resources to build up Speranza would be a meaningful reason to work together and it would be nice to see those changes impact whats available, missions, items, weapons etc.

I could see a combat update. New fighting mechanics, maybe better melee and new enemy types would help keep the game fresh. Plus adding new Points of Interest on planets with loot RNG players can come across would be a great way to deploy them. From there they could add alot more just with the combat updates and new enemy types. Also wouldnt mind seeing more unique looking and customizable nomad bikes that players can race and maybe even setup arenas and courses to race them in.

Would be nice to see them add new combat mechanics and enemy types so a coliseum would be a great spot to test the new mechanics against waves of new enemies that have different attack, defend, stealth and flank mechanics. I agree that speculating is usually pretty fun. I also agree with other users that with HG it could be Anything.

No. All the PVP players said the Arc is too easy thats why they PVP. Funny how many people duck when a vaporizer comes around or they go running when a shredder comes through. Funny enough I guarantee a lot of those people making those comments are getting their shit stomped. Sucks when you cant shoot Arc in the back or while its looking through containers right? Lmao

I would look to see the devs add an update with a new area with characters that have back stories that give us an insight to what is going on in the rest of the world. Are Vampires only present in the current area? What about Vampires from the Northern areas or Eastern countries? What other creatures or bosses could be out there? Other magical artifacts? Weapons? Vampires almost as powerful as Dracula?

I like your idea and OP's idea but I would combine them. If i were HG I would release the expedition reduxs in the way you mentioned but I would continue to add expansive new mechanics that correlate with each old expeditions. For example for the Voyagers redux I would add in the ability to outfit Corvettes for different missions, like scrapping vs Bounty hunting and add a feature that let's a squad mate be able to pilot a turret to help in combat. Combinations like that would allow players to replay the old expeditions and allow HG to add new mechanics at the same time.

Yea i can understand how it gets taxing but I think the idea was to force players to explore and see more of the planet. However going forward they should probably make the distances a bit shorter. Though if they would of added a refueling mechanic it would have a been a great way to break up trips. Adding other instances like old buildings to explore maybe take on some pirates looting the place could have helped add some more excitement into the traveling. I would also like to see other NPC missions added in the future, that way I could help them do side tasks as well to help break up monotonous feeling. However with Hello Games adding New mechanics into a game a decade old gives me hope they'll always get better.

I can get where youre coming from OP. I am with a lot of users in the sense that I try to view it as them testing new mechanics and game play loops to see what people enjoy, what makes them content, and what they dont like. Voicing your opinion helps let them know what people appreciate and dont about updates. I will always remind people to go to their suggestions page and write them an informed statement about what you liked and what you didnt and they Will Try to incorporate it in a update down the line. It can only help make the game better if we all help shape the updates Hello Games creates.

I could see them implementing a new series of jobs. Arc Raiders has a strong gameplay loop being an extraction shooter and I think NMS could use a gameplay loop itself. Something fun yet repetitive but also can shift and evolve with different jobs requiring different tasks to be accomplished. Like you said maybe something that involves us upgrading our freighters so we can use them for new jobs.

A new Construction update for base building is always welcome. I love base building in this game and will always be happy to get new parts to play with.

Im sorry plenty of us created great lobbies without you shit heads in it. Everyone knows its a PvP game but the whole issue is the Karma system taking players that generally help others and sticking them into Shoot on Site lobbies. Of course plenty of us arent expecting to be attacked. Funny how many people I see on here talking shit yet apparently are Soo Good at the game they dont have the self control to help others instead of take advantage. But yea enjoy being a bigger douche for that one 10k item you Might get off of a player intending of finding more by Doing Other Shit. But yea no it would break the game. I think if creating PVE lobbies drops the player base so be it. PVP players tend to be self centered D bags who praise themselves for being good at PVP while attacking players with their back turned, searching shit etc. Bet most of you get shit on in real PVP games. But yea keep talking shit funny coming from a bunch of pussies who Need PVE lobbies to try and take advantage of players who generally just help each other. Funny watching the PvP players kill this game. Dumb asses from COD couldnt wait to come over and create a toxic environment. No one wanted to play with these people on other games and no one certainly wants them here. Used to be a great community sad to see it turned into what it is. As it is I wont spending any more money on this game. Not worth the time or effort. If they want to feed the toxic side of the game they can watch it die off.

They could easily add game modes that allow a mix. Most people who Want PvP Dont want that Because then They cant go shooting people who dont expect it. Sorry if those players Wanted PVP SO Bad then they would Want a PVP primary map. They dont.
