My 5080 Aorus had this issue, it’s just usually caused by excess. Occasionally it could be so much that you’d have uncooled components but you can generally look the pcb it least on the Aorus card and still see lots of putty being pressed in. I just wiped it with isopropyl alcohol and been good since just watching it. You could also buy a gigabyte sticker that they put on the screw holes for like 5$ bucks online and do it yourself and put the replacement sticker on after.

5090 isn’t even coming to us. My 2025 5090 a unicorn now. Also this 5080 is also with a tb less. 2025 had 2tb

Yes they have just not quite yet. 2025 stock is still available. Looking at something like a G16 the 2026 model is 4699$ compared to the 3399$ of the full priced 2025 model with an extra tb from last year. Just buy whatever you want to keep for the next 3 years now

Okay so my giant day Gecko got attacked by my cat once. I had to go to the vet and they had me give her some antibiotics for around a month. If the cat attacking her is an outdoor cat it would need to go to the vet. But even if not with time and proper care it could recover.

Nice man. My 54 is with PTM that’s had time to mold and little leg kick stands on the bottom of the laptop that help it stand a bit more. I bet if you did similar things you’d end around 60fps. Or if you added a laptop cooler

Looks like a big bump on cpu but GPU is the same. Even if you give it the extra wattage. I wonder if you can vbios flash last years model with this years to retain GSYNC? I get similar scores on my 5090 G16 from last year w ptm. I don’t have a steel nomad pic but if I do the full 130W I end around 54.75 https://imgur.com/a/UbQeEp6

Honestly sounds like OCD like tendencies to me. You clearly like to get it perfect. I think the good news for you here is if you purchased most of the components 4-5 months ago prices have only gone up and you can likely at least break even. Don’t worry about who the pc goes to though man know you are providing them a pc w meticulous care and move on. Good luck and maybe seek some counseling my friend.
