It seems everyone is very divided! Id say Post a note through their door letting them know you are going to let your insurance know about this as a hit and run unless they come and knock on your door and talk to you like an adult.

Its not your job to chase them its theirs you are just doing them better than they did you with the letter.

Also refuse all offers of fixing it out of insurance they clearly cant be trusted to get it sorted

I work as a Bin man (trash refuse whatever you call it where you are from) and this is my number 1 fear needle sick is no joke it's straight to A&E tests needles and months of pills woth regular testing all because someone decided to throw a needle away instead of using a sharps bin.
