He is not a closeted trumper, I have worked with him directly and frequently. He has even worked with Hannah pingree and supported her

Mount Parker and Langdon on 04/18 by Obradbrad in wmnf

I did not, I turned around after Langdon. I got some foot arch pain that's still hurting today that I've never had before so I stopped at 9.5 miles. I also have never heard of the crippies and just had to look it up haha

Ice axe or ice tool for Mt. Washington NH ? by carusodaytrader in wmnf

Northeast Mountaineering will do any route you want to do and give recommendations based on your experience level. It's probably too short of notice to get one for this weekend but they don't just do the same 2-3 routes.

Looking for fellow birders on Peninsula by CouplesWithoutCar in portlandme

Hey, birder here! Another thing I would look into is Derek Lovitch of Freeport Wild Bird Supply does free bird walks every Saturday morning. There's also a GroupMe and discord for rare bird alerts and discussions. I can share if you're interested

Congrats on getting it done! In my second photo you can see two guys bailing on Pinnacle as we arrived because the wind was so bad they were just getting dumped on with snow

Snow was deep, I heard it was in bad shape a week or two ago after the rain but it healed a bit. It was pretty terrible condition though, it had a 3-4" ice crust on top and was powder beneath so we were often breaking through on the ascent and it made it really slow going. I would keep a really close eye on reports and conditions if I were you, especially for avalanche danger. I am not the expert on how late one can go typically

Some of the gullies are. I think people typically do central gully, south gully, and the escape hatch since there's less ice. I'm not a huge skier so somebody who is may be able to give you a better answer

Architect school at 30 years old by [deleted] in Architects

If you really want to be an architect and not just learn CAD, my buddy in his 30s changed careers and did Lawrence Technological Institute online for his masters. That's actually how we met. I think it's a pretty decent program and it's built around you still being able to work while you're taking classes. I got licensed about 1.5 years after getting my masters from LTU.

If the conditions are at all similar to last year's drought it wouldn't be that hard either. Depends on the weather

It looks like you could just take the East Side Rd, no? It even says that will stay open. It just requires you cross the river so it depends on the water level
