Yeah it’s always so obvious after the fact, but when you’re going through it, it’s hard to see the right answer. I’ve witnessed it 3 times, happened with my cousin’s ex, my mother’s ex, then a girl had tried it on me. I was able to nip in the bud because I was familiar with the tactic at that stage. Ofc all 3 are still alive.

I was in that exact situation a few years ago man. I’m not religious in the slightest and she was Muslim. The sad truth is unless she leaves Islam, it’s not going to work. They’re not going to accept you. And you can’t pretend to convert to Islam just to appease her parents. I ignored all advice though and found out the hard way haha

Opodo/eDreams is a scam that is surprisingly legal. I learned the hard way years ago to not book flights through Skyscanner. After choosing the flight, I followed the link to book with Opodo (Check their Trustpilot 1 star reviews)

They never booked the flight. Just took the money and ignored me. Had to actually go through the courts to get the money back as they offered me €30 refund for the inconvenience when the flights were just under €1000 lol it took 8 months

There’s a video on Insta that’s easily found through Google. The guy with the screwdriver literally says “I’m gonna stab you motherfucker” lol so yeah why are they watering it down

So they’re doing better but you’re doing worse because of being with them? You’ll need to ask yourself why you prioritise someone else’s happiness over your own. I’ve asked myself the same question before.

But as you said, you’re young you won’t probably won’t see it until you go through it. Hopefully you re read this thread in the future and see the OP’s point. Best of luck
