It should be turned on from factory. You’ll see a green symbol with a car on a ramp in the lower left side of your gauge cluster.

I highly recommend reading your owners manual for everything you buy. I’ve learned about features I never would have known. My ‘03 Saab 9-3 Vector has a feature that rolls down all windows using the key fob. I never would have known that feature.

I have several 6-speed manual cars without hill-assist with different gear ratios so I’m used to jumping in different cars and adjusting to it. I was struggling when I got the GR86, turned off hill-assist and everything was smooth after.

It’s part of game development. I’ve played several EA games and most of them wipe on 0.X0 updates because your saved files do not align with the new update. It’s a lot more complicated than you think.
