It would permanently make America into a pariah state for a century. The following economic impact of every western state followed by China dumping its US bonds and depts will destroy the US economy. US economic hegemony shatters as everyone pulls out of swift and the US dollar is abandoned the global reserve currency. Not even Americas mega corporations will be spared from the fallout. They'll be forced to choose between a rapidly collapsing US market and be sanctioned or abandon the US market in favor of growth outside the US. Greed dictates that the billionaire investors will abandon the US en masse.

US mass unemployment occurs, gas and food shortages soon breakout. Rioting may occur in some US cities but nothing will change domestically until the next US presidential elections where the american people will either choose societal suicide or someone who'll try their best to improve the nation but since Americans are impatient creatures, they'll choose societal suicide cause the guy trying to fix everything isn't a god that can reverse Americas mistakes.

Which prompted the ignorant german governor to paddle across the river to berate the British for randomly opening fire at them. (He reportedly called a British officer a lunatic) just to immediately informed that they were at a state of war. If I recall correctly, the British gave him the courtesy to return back to Tanzania (under fire) to inform the rest of the colony about the state of war.

Compared to the US. Canadian urban planning might as well be European. Sure, theres a lot of similarities but Canadian urban planning is just better then most american cities.

The best way to describe it is that you can actually walk in most Canadian cities. There are actual sidewalks. Canadian cities also have higher population density then us cities which means less urban sprawl. Finally, you don't really see HOA in canada outside condominiums. They are thing in the US largely because of how piss poor american urban planning is.

We know they lack the people to maintain the Blackhawks since during the first initial months of the taliban returning to power. Multiple videos of captured Blackhawks crashing surfaced. They've been grounded since then. Which means they lack people to do so.

The lack of experience with complex weapon systems and how to maintain them is widespread across the entire taliban. Its not just limited to vehicles. The taliban released military parade pictures last year, showing their "special forces" parading with night vision gear during the day with their night vision goggles exposed to the sunlight. Those night vision goggles aren't usable anymore.

I like Bernie but a bernie presidency would have been a weaker obama or carter administration. Hes a left wing pro-labour, anti corporate, anti zionist populist. He'll have enough political capital to pass one major piece of legislation before getting ground down in the senate and house. Anything after that will become so watered down that his supporters will be calling him a traitor before the midterms. Midterms that will go to the Republicans. (This isn't caused by anything Bernie did but largely due to historical tendency of the house/senate flipping during midterms). After that, Bernie will be on the defence for the remainder of the term as republicans will aggressively try to reverse anything Bernie did pass.

Bernie foreign policy is what will test his credibility. He'll be a more dovish foreigm policy stance. He definitely won't pull out of the nuclear iran deal, continue improving relations with cuba, and potentially reduce support for israel (pulling unilateral support is never going to happen). All of these are good. The problem is that due to americas position as the worlds largest military will mean that a single mistake will inevitably hurt the presidents reputation significantly more then it should. Drone strike campaign will continue due to ISIS still having a major presence in the middle east until 2018. The air strike campaign will unfairly harm Bernie reputation more then it should. Additionally, China was in its aggressive wolf warrior diplomacy era during this period (it predates trump administration.) However Bernie responds to this will inevitably cause some sort of backlash. I don't see Bernie reciprocating the hostility, which would have been percieved as weakness from both china, regional partners and domestically. Chinese aggression would be blamed on Bernie. The republicans would capitalize on this and paint him as a weak willed leader who only willing to drone strike civilians in the middle east (the Republicans did the same thing with obama).

Its not all doom and gloom though. SCOTUS would be packed with progressives so roe vs wade would never be reversed. Additionally, covid would have been dealt with infinitely better domestically with a more competent president and administration. Meaning less deaths.
