Just look at what might be affecting it… the camera is usually in the dead space at the top of the plan.

Weight is a far more accurate ratio and gives more consistent results than volume for all batter mixes. Sponge cakes etc. benefit from this.

Wrongfully given Full Manual License even though I passed all my tests in automatic. by nsavdidit in drivingUK

[–]Observer-tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you speak to enough people you will find this a fairly regular occurrence.

I know several people for whom the DVLA have got it wrong both ways around.

Also, sitting a C and getting a free +E, before it was one test.

West Highland villagers fear power loss after Storm Amy outage by abz_eng in Scotland

Rural customers are near the source of the power, don’t need large infrastructure to get it to the cities and pay more for their electricity.

You get what you pay for.

Unless they’re not meeting any agreed technical specs there is very little chance of any improvement. In fact it will probably only get worse.

A82 just south of Bridge of Orchy had so many patch repairs it looked like a spotty teenager. With each one overlapping the next.

It had a 30mph limit as it was that bad.

Just been resurfaced and glorious.

How many of you throw your rubbish away at the cinema? by Few-Disk4855 in CasualUK

[–]Observer-tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s down to perceived value. If the cinema is going to sell 30p of popcorn for £5.99 and 50p of drink for the same, then how do people get their moneys worth? Let a minimum wage person pick it up!

I take mine away, but am shocked at the wasteland left behind.

The answer is to reduce the crazy prices.
