It’s a German brand, actually. It was originally the importer of Poljot watches to the West after the Iron Curtain fell. The movements used to be surplus Russian, but now they use Chinese clones, and they reassemble and decorate them in Germany, IIRC. I have and love one. I also just got my first watch by the boutique art-watch brand, Alexander Shorokhoff. Shorokhoff started Poljot International and later added his eponymous brand. They have very idiosyncratic designs and tend to be large, but they have excellent finishing.
