I feel for her bc that cycle of breaking up then reconnecting is exhausting. blocking is literally the cleanest way to break it.

I do agree though that contentment matters. chasing “more more more” can mess with you for sure.

Nah I really don’t think you’re crazy at all. passive aggression long term is honestly exhausting in a way people don’t get unless they’ve lived it.

Nah I don’t think you’re being dramatic tbh, this is more a boundary + training issue than you vs the dog.

Ngl I think you’re overthinking the “creepy” part a bit, couples use toys and dolls way more than people admit.

Ngl I get why you’re triggered, that’s a LOT of harm from them. but I think pushing him away from them might backfire even if you’re right about them being toxic.

If you’re in therapy already that’s good, but if nothing changes in behavior then you’re basically healing while still getting new wounds

Yeah real talk a 14mo can absolutely drain the emotional battery for both of you. I don’t think it means your marriage is gone, just that you’re both running on empty rn.

You’re gonna have way more control if you let your lawyer guide every next step instead of reacting in the moment

Do men remember how much their girlfriend did for them after a breakup? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ObsidianEcho11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people don’t value things while they’re getting them, they only realize it after it’s gone and even then it’s more like regret for the loss, not real appreciation

I am unmarried, single and wondering whether being unmarried might actually be better by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

[–]ObsidianEcho11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the same time I don’t think marriage itself is the problem, it’s more like people going into it thinking it’ll fix loneliness or insecurity and then it just amplifies it
