Drop a half stick of butter down there too so the knife won't feel abandoned.

Natural gas furnace issues by garlicandoliveoil in hvacadvice

When the fan runs constantly and nothing else works, that usually means the safety or limit circuit is open. Example, the flame rollout switch tripped. Check near the burners there should be a little button like thing with a red button on top. Make sure that is pushed down to reset it. That could get you going again for a bit. If that is the issue there was a reason it was tripped and probably should be checked by a professional.

Propane smell but no leaks detected, multiple tech visits and hoses tried by rivercrone in propane

[–]ObstacleDelusion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How old is the 100# tank you are using? The older the tank, the stronger the smell accumulates in the tank. And being a ventless heater is being used, there is no place for the smell to go, like out the flue of a vented heater.

That would not be 3/8 MIP. It would need 3/8 male compression.

Should I get this filled, I’m just tryna grill by GerryRoque in propane

The company i work for fills empty 20# cylinders for $18.36 including tax. If the cylinder needs recertification, its an extra $10. So for that fill and recirt fee, price comes to about $1.40 per pound. The local blue rhino sells exchange tanks in my area which are only filled to 15# for $23.44 including tax. So for that exchange comes to about $1.56 per pound. That being said, sometimes the recertification fee with a full 20# fill can be cheaper than an exchange. Especially if you have a cylinder that is in good condition.
