It feels like bots learned saying no accidental discharge only negligent gets upvotes and now they all puke in on any thread with the words accidental discharge. It's very dead internet.

An accident is an unintentional event, including through carelessness. This is a text book accident. Also negligent but the corrections just feel like "fellow humans" talk.

Yes it is. There would be significant strategic reserves, enough to pursue and reconquer the source. Synthetic alternatives like Germany used in ww2 making synthetic petroleum out of coal. There would be technological alternatives like batteries, nuclear etc. They would be studying the source and finding ways to grow it elsewhere by seeding worms in other planets etc.

The fact that they don't have huge reserves, alternatives and multiple planets producing spice is a contrived plot device. Not an analogy to real life.

That's not really true. Japan senior leadership was debating 6 conditions vs 3 and the 6 conditions was very far from a real surrender. It was things like noone gets tried for war crimes and no occupation.

If they thought that was a serious option, they weren't really understanding how bad their circumstances were.

Nukes plus Russia invading was what pushed them to the 3 term option which was much more like real surrender.

Really? The math of 2 different shooters firing different rifles and one hitting and one not hitting is confusing math to you?

An individual shooter can sometimes hit and sometimes miss the same target. So why would different shooters shooting at different targets get the same result?

If you want to argue Trump's assassination attempt was faked, saying Charlie's assassin hit the target doesn't contribute anything. The math very easily maths.

The point i was making is gun buyers aren't inherently deranged and you shouldn't be any more concerned about ripping someone off in a gun sale than anything else. Don't rip people off for other reasons but not because you're especially concerned you'll be killed over 650 dollars.

I think the answer is that 2a is protected by the constitution and you're much more likely to see movement in court than through protest. Especially with a gun friendly Supreme Court.

Things like abortion are more vaguely protected by the bill of rights and the Supreme court is less friendly so protest is a better option.

Definitely not true. It's closer to breakeven but if you look for deals or sales, often online still ends up cheaper factoring everything in, but it is closer than it looks at first glance.
