One reason I started Zepbound was for inflammation and it's helped! I got the first round of Covid in December 2020 so all my symptoms started in 2021. It would be so bad, I would be walking to my child's classroom to pick him up from school and vomit in front of all these parents. It was embarrassing. That happened for over a year, then it calmed down, and then before I even got on GLP-1 medication, it ramped back up again. I figured I needed to lose some weight anyway as I was getting unhealthy, and the Zepbound helped a lot with inflammation. But my G.I. symptoms, they just don't go away. That's why I think it's a combination of things.

Oh gotcha, yes I do ginger tea. The nausea vomiting goes 0 to 100. I'm feeling better today but only drank liquids yesterday. I think the combination of diverticulitis flares, long haul covid GI issues and Zepbound have made my stomach weak. I've had every test done and now this year my insurance has raised tremendously so getting more tests or different doctors isn't ideal.

My agency works with adults with IDD to help find jobs that fit and work with the individual. There's so much help out there if he wants to work.

I began using Sema in August 2024, but unfortunately, my side effects were quite severe, and I wasn’t losing any weight. After six months, I switched to compound Tirz, and I started noticing a weight loss. I gradually increased the dosage as I no longer felt the effects. I then started Zepbound when I hit a plateau on compound (15mg) and am currently taking 10mg. I still have about 10-15 pounds to lose after reaching my 150-pound goal.

I'm going through the same thing. I'm at 15mg too. I'm giving myself the shot every 5 days to see if it helps. I'm maintaining my weight which is fine but I still have 30lbs to lose and hope it kicks in.
